Content Hackathon - Generate a Year's Content in a Day!

Join Cas McCullough, founder of Writally, Dave Ryan, founder and CEO of tech-writing company Corilla, and the Legendary Josh Wulf for this one day content hackathon where you can write up to a year's worth of content for your startup, small business, or personal brand.
At the beginning of the day, you'll generate a light-weight one-page content strategy. Then you'll use Writally's revolutionary recipes to write your way to fame and fortune, ending the day with up to a year's worth of content in multiple formats - including full-length blog posts and social media micro-content.
Featuring a special session from Dave Ryan, and onsite assistance by professional writers, this is your opportunity to take your business, your brand, and your message to the next level!
We will be providing lunch on the day so that you can focus on content. Fishburners have an awesome coffee machine and chilled water on tap.

Fishburners is hosting the first Data Hackathon with Flight Centre here in Brisbane!
Up for grabs for the winning team is $10k in prize money and all teams will have a chance at future collaboration with Flight Centre for the right idea.So, who should attend this event? We’re looking for a mix of business people, marketers, developers, designers and people who can generally make stuff happen.You’ll be provided with test endpoints to develop against and access to agents and Flight Centre technical staff through the weekend.The hackathon will take place in Fishburners new Brisbane office located right in the heart of Queen St Mall and will kick off on Friday 24th March at 6pm.The Challenge:How can Flight Centre assist agents in delivering further improved travel advice through data availability?Flight Centre has a well-developed process for providing premium travel advice using 6,000 experienced retail travel agents across Australia.During this process, agents combine their expertise with data and references to develop a high-quality experience for their customer.We’re looking for teams ready to find ways of using the purchase history of the customer, plus any data sources they can find and use responsibly, to further equip agents with useful insights to share with customers while planning their travel.
The teams solutions will be evaluated by a judging panel including Flight Centre management.

MCT1 Minecraft Playthrough

On Sunday February 19 at 1pm, we'll be playing through a modified version of Minecraft that is being developed to support children and families with Type 1 Diabetes.
During the weekend software developers and game designers are working on this modified version that has three principle aims:
1. Be educational: the gameplay teaches players about the mechanics of Type 1 Diabetes and its management
2. Be entertaining: the gameplay is designed to be engaging and make learning fun!
3. Create community: be a lightning rod for children and families living with Type 1 and provide the opportunity for community.
So you are welcome to come with your child and play through the Minecraft version that we call MCT1 (Minecraft for Type 1) and give us your valuable feedback!
What you'll need to bring:
A laptop with Minecraft installed.
A Mojang account for the Java version of Minecraft (you can buy a card from Coles for $25 for this)
The event is supported by Magikcraft, NovoNordisk, Just Digital People, Pharmadata, Fishburners, and Digital Brisbane.
