About the expert:
Chris Iona is the Founder of Future Pass, and has spent the past 14 years building, leading and scaling some of Australia’s best startups. His most recent role was VP of Engineering at Hipages, which saw him grow the team from 5 to 30, transforming the technology stack and tech culture to leverage cloud and modern practices. This led to a significant increase in service availability, deployments and velocity. Prior to that, Chris was an Engineering Director at Bigcommerce, and in that time helped grow the team through fast and strong growth. In 2014, Chris was listed on AIM’s 30–under-30 list for excellence in Management. He regularly presents at CTO Summits and conferences.

Workshop logistics:
This workshop is one day and is limited to twelve participants, enabling us to focus on your challenges and objectives. Chris delivers the course in person, weaving in real-life examples from his time at Hipages and Big Commerce. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions by email in the week leading up to the workshop and Chris will personalize the content and exercises to address everyone’s goals. At the end of the course you will walk away with new skills and a clear plan that you will be able to implement immediately. This workshop is held in an awesome boardroom in the Sydney CBD and runs from 9 am– 5.30 pm with short breaks. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea is provided.

Dan leads strategy and innovation across a broad portfolio of clients from Samsung, Diageo, Canon, Emirates, Oporto & Red Rooster. Dan has spetd the last 19 years in Sydney, London and New York at world class creative companies like AKQA London, iris and BBH New York developing award winning ideas and innovations for brands like Nike, Adidas, MINI, Samsung, McDonald’s. As Managing Director of Diner, Dan works with clients to create new marketing ventures and business models – fusing behavioural design with world class creativity and cultural smarts.

Innovation Lead at Schneider Electric
Angela Bee Chan is the Innovation Lead at Schneider Electric in the Pacific Zone where she is responsible for fostering a culture of innovation. She started her career in public relations working in with food and lifestyle brands such as Max Brennar and Hamilton Island before getting immersed into hackathons. She then worked on accounts such as Intel, EMC, ASUS and Tableau before transitioning into marketing working for a small IT reseller, and then APC by Schneider Electric. Having built her own small businesses, she loves having both the corporate and startup life. You may know her for also being the Founder and CEO of Hackathons Australia.

Christian leads customer opportunity definition at Tricky Jigsaw, M&C Saatchi’s product & service innovation arm. He bring to projects and workshops insights from 15 years across most parts of the product life cycle with a focus on customer strategy and innovation in digital, media, banking, insurance, retail and consumer electronics. Prior to M&C Saatchi, he held senior customer experience roles at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation & service design consultancies. This workshop covers the foundations of data analytics and is designed for beginners in the data field. There are no formal prerequisites to taking this course, but please check the agenda before registering to make sure, that it meets your requirements.
No prior knowledge of analytics or programming skills is needed, we'll start with the foundations.
