List of hackathons in Innsbruck, Austria in 2016

Hackers! Come to Munich and participate in "Hack in October". You'll be able to collaborate on projects related to Big Data, Process Mining, Data Visualization, Data Science and Machine Learning. The winning team will receive super cool drones as prizes!

Come and participate in Bolzano Hackathon. This year, the focus is on what can you do to make the region you are living in more innovative and at the same time sustainable? In this edition you can play with some cool gadgets — Oculus VR, Google Glasses, IoT lamps, wearable sensors, and RasperryPis.

Are you a journalist, designer or developer interested in digital journalism? Are you a disruptor -- good at thinking outside the box? Come! Join a team at the digital journalism hackathon and help develop a prototype, a new gadget or a new form that is purely digital and radically pushes journalism into the future.

This hackathon gives you the opportunity to learn how to program and at the same time do something good! It would be helpful to know the basics of HTML, CSS and JS but it is not a problem if you don't. There will be three to four social projects for web design. Participants will look for a social project that they want to support in the Hackathon and let their imagination run wild! Together with passionate hackers you will form teams to design web applications for a good cause, meet new people and learn how to code!

There will be three or four social projects/websites with a specific problem that need help solving. Participants can use the network as a playground for their ideas together with mentors for web applications with JavaScript. It is a playful program for you to learn and meet new people! Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS would be nice but are not a must!
