⛓🚛 THE FIRST LOGISTICS HACKATHON FOR BELGIUM ✈️🚢 ➡️ www.logisticshackathon.be ⬅️ Solve one of the logistics & supply chain challenges by Colruyt Group, Knauf Belgium, FrieslandCampina, ArcelorMittal and Carglass during 24 hours of brainstorming, keynotes, new technologies, networking and more. Professionals, students, consultants, ... everyone is welcome to participate. Also, did we mention that participating in the hackathon is free?

Le 9 novembre et le 10 novembre 2018, l’Ordre français des avocats du barreau de Bruxelles,  le Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten Bij de Balie te Brussel organisent à l’intermédiaire de l’Incubateur européen du barreau de Bruxelles et en collaboration avec le Centre Perelman de l’Université libre de Bruxelles le premier hackathon juridique belge.   Le hackathon est un concours réunissant des personnes disposant de compétences juridiques ou informatiques. Il prend la forme d’une compétition entre des projets présentant des aspects informatiques et destinés à faciliter le travail des avocats. Ces projets sont réalisés par des équipes en fonction d’un cahier des charges. Le thème du concours pour l’année 2018 est la récupération de créance. Les meilleurs projets sont récompensés par des prix d’un montant total de 6000 Euros.   Les équipes sont formées par les organisateurs afin de garantir une répartition équitable des compétences. Les langues de travail sont l’anglais  ou le français en fonction de la composition des équipes. L'anglais et le français pourront être utilisés dans la présentation finale.   L’inscription et la participation au Hackathon est gratuite. Toutefois, afin de s’assurer du sérieux des inscriptions, une caution de 5 euros est demandée lors de celle-ci, dont la restitution est garantie à tous les participants effectifs au concours. Tout commence le samedi matin par l’audition de pitch d’idées et continue par des sessions de brainstorming, de développement de business plans et de co-création. hackARENA culmine le dimanche par des démonstrations et des présentations. Les participants ont l’opportunité de collaborer avec des pairs en dehors de leurs réseaux traditionnels. Les équipes participent à des workshops donnés par des experts reconnus et reçoivent des conseils. Le weekend est centré autour de la prise d’action, de l’innovation et de la formation. Politique de Cautionnement  Une caution de 20€ est demandée à l'inscription. Celle-ci sera remboursée aux participants présents à hackARENA dans les jours suivant le week-end. The weekend is centered around initiative, innovation and training. Bonding Policy A deposit of 20 € is required at registration. This will be returned to the participants at the end of the weekend. Le thème Smart Rurality n’a pas été choisi au hasar. Cette problématique cruciale, tout particulièrement en Wallonie, est pourtant d’actualité à l’heure où l’on se focalise sur le développement durable, la mobilité en milieu rural et les autres sujets liés à l’écologie… Notre objectif est de provoquer chez les étudiants une réflexion sur l’intégration des TIC dans le domaine du développement rural et, ainsi, susciter des idées innovantes.

Last extensive workshop one month from the hackathon that will take place on November 23rd & 24th.

A full hands-on coding weekend for newbies in VR, organized around workshops, exercises & coaching. 3 different tracks (Unity3D, WebVR & Blender) to chose from. If you got what it takes, you might succeed. This is an original program specifically tailored for this weekend, based on VR & coding teaching experience. Join in !

1 weekend/ 48 hours to build a VR experience from a coding or a 3D design point of view !2 technologies will be proposed : WebVR or Unity3D - stick to the one that suits you.1 hardware : Oculus Go Friday 12 October - 6pm, bring your computer, download your pack with the essential code scripts, 3D assets & scenarios - you have a full weekend (on your own, or as part of a team) to cross the finish line on Sunday 4pm with an operational/ working VR scene. Throughout the whole weekend, numerous workshops on dedicated tech topics will be given any time of the day / night in order to help you out, and coaches will deblock you on these expected "ahaaaaa-I'm-blocked" moment. Coaches/ experts will be actively participating on their own challenge : get at least 75% of the participants crossing the finish line of a working experience & improving their coaching/teaching skills. Sunday 14 October - 6pm, go home and get some well deserved sleep - you got some new tech skills to test a growing industry. This program is completely tailored for participants eager to increase their tech skills. This is not a start-up weekend,  a hackathon nor a linear workshop - but more a coding "bootcamp" program organized around exercises and coding challenges. About the chainPORT initiative Curious to know how world leading ports enable collaboration throughout global supply chains? Discover chainPORT, initiated in 2016 by several world ports to create value to global port end-users and customers. They do so  by developing leading-edge processes & technology and advocate & shape industry policy. Since then no less than 10 port authorities play an active role in this unique collaboration! ​ Do you want to be part of it? Enter the first edition of the chainPORT hackaton where participants from all over the world will work on well thought out global and local port challenges! ​This fall, the Port of Antwerp and Los Angeles will be the playground of innovation during the first simultaneous chainPORT hackathon! Antwerp chainPORT hackathon Organizing partners The chainPORT hackathon is organized by the Port of Antwerp, AlfaPort Voka and NxtPort. 5 challenges chainPORT hack will focus on 5 different challenges, each having a place in the port of Antwerp. These challenges are selected by NxtPort, port of Antwerp and AlfaPort Voka. 3 days - 2 nights 3 inspiring days and 2 nights of developing innovation on logistics in the port. I4NATURE Hackathon Vlissingen Leer over duurzaam ondernemen met een leerzame hackathon.  Wil jij leren over duurzaam ondernemen? En kennis vergaren van ondernemers uit het vak? Op 8 en 9 oktober van dit jaar organiseert I4Nature in samenwerking met SPIE Nederland een 48 uur durende hackathon in Vlissingen. Op een industriële locatie ga jij aan de slag met vraagstukken die spelen binnen het bedrijf SPIE over energie transitie, zorg&welzijn, data safety en sustainability. Van het bedenken hoe een product op de markt profileren op een duurzame manier tot aan het bedenken van een nieuw verdienmodel.  Tijdens deze twee dagen is er een afwisseling tussen hard werken, ontspanning en muzikale optredens van (lokale) artiesten. Aan het einde van deze hackathon heb jij indirect je steentje bijgedragen aan de natuur door je kennis te delen om een vraagstuk op te lossen.
