Interested in ways to advance the economic development of the city of Curitiba? You're invited to form a multi-disciplinary team and participate at the 36-hour Hackathon Curitiba 2016! You'll be provided with a development topic by the city and be challenged to create an innovative application prototype that helps strengthen the economy and ecosystem of the city of Curitiba.

Hackathon Sendi will consist of 4 simultaneous challenges. Registration should be made to only one of the challenges, In the event of double registration, the organization will eliminate surplus registrations without consultation prior. The focus on Challenge 3 is Operation and Automation for Intelligent Distribution Networks with the goal of generating solutions and innovations to automate the power distribution sector or improve day to day activity in plants and offices.

The focus of Challenge 4 is build an app or program that will improve cohesiveness of city structure or facilities or improves how infrastructure does its job in some way.

The focus of Challenge 2 is intelligent energy, so the goal is to create an app or program that helps to minimize energy usage, or more efficiently uses current energy.

The I Hackathon Copel Telecom is a 48-hour competition to program applications and software for students of technical schools, colleges and universities. This event is connected to CodeAcross 2016, a weekend of simultaneous events, coordinated by brigades CodeForAmerica worldwide, which coincides with the International Day of open data. The goal of CodeAcross is to invite the city to participate in the CodeForCuritiba and inspire residents everywhere to be actively involved in their community.
