Want to help more women enter and succeed in the technology sector? AngelHack invites you to come and participate in the Lady Problem Global Hackathon Series in São Paulo! You'll get to collaborate with like-minded women—and men—in an effort to build creative solutions to realize the potential of the female half of our world population! You'll be asked to hack a solution to one of the following challenges: Health: Help women access health resources to ensure that they can have successful careers, regardless of whether or not they choose to have children, or Safety: Help ensure that women can be safe when they go to, are at, and come home from work, or Economic Empowerment: Help women gain financial literacy and access the resources they need to grow their businesses, or Culture: Help women access better mentorship and feel less isolated in the workplace. Instead, you will use the best tools for non-coders—prototyping tools, drag and drop editors, mockups, wireframes—to VISUALLY demo your idea on stage. ProtoHack will be a 12-hour experience where you will build a prototype that communicates an idea visually.

Healthcare developers, professionals and entrepreneurs! Participate in the Hack4Health Hackathon and help address major challenges for the health system in Brazil. This year sponsors GE Healthcare and Optum will present you with two Big Data & Healthcare Analytics challenges. You must come up with creative solutions for integrating data and extracting intelligence that can help improve overall Public Health. Come and participate in an event to assist vulnerable populations on the streets. All participants are asked to bring blankets, coats, shirts and pants for donation. Participants will investigate the social phenomenon called homelessness, trying to understand the root causes of the phenomenon and discuss some actions to address the problem.
