Participation is free and entry is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The following are the guidelines for participants:
Individuals or Teams - no limit on team size
18 years old or older
Any background, employment, or experience level
(Basic programming experience is recommended, but 3D modelers and graphic designers are also welcome to join)
You are encouraged to bring your own equipment.
Internet access will be provided but may be slow - download all your programs prior to the event

We are back and determined to make this happen..Black Boys Code robotics hackathon to take place at the Surrey City Centre Library on Saturday April 29th 2017. Participants will be asked to develop the best, smartest, and most creative solution they can over the course of the BlackBoysCode Spring 2017 Hackathon Challenge. By the end of the workshop they will have programmed a physical robot to traverse obstacles. The boys will have also learned skills such as collaboration (working in teams), critical thinking (programming), and communication (presentation skills)…
