Embracing data-driven financial analysis: CPAs offer a strong set of accounting and financial statement analysis skills required for today's complex and evolving business environment. Financial statements are the universal reporting tools which investors, banks, and other professionals use to evaluate a business. However, stakeholders are increasingly relying on non-traditional data, alongside environmental, social and governance (ESG) information to monitor and evaluate businesses, often in real-time. Therefore, traditional approaches to financial statement analysis must evolve to meet the expanding needs of these data-driven stakeholders. When is it? ONLINE: George Brown College Interdisciplinary Design Strategy Postgraduate

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada is excited to invite you to our first-ever hackathon!

This Hackathon will provide High School students a chance to demonstrate their programming skills with software development, Web or App development or other technology based solution to a real world problem. Gain insight from experts in the the field and meet with potential employers. Your goal will be to create functional software, hardware, or product by end of the event (26 hours) and then to present your product to the judges. Boost your resume, WOW local employers and have fun! Get your friends to create a team of 3 or 4, create a team when you in the morning of the hackathon or go it alone. Since this is an overnight event – you might want to bring a sleeping bag.
