Le Temps is organizing a hackathon on for historians, developers, designers, journalists, scientists, and anyone who is interested in exploring the two hundred years of history seen through the daily press of Le Temps. At this event, the numbers of all newspapers prior to the creation of Time will be accessible, that is to say: La Gazette de Lausanne (1798-1998), The Journal de Genève (1826-1998), and Le Nouveau Quotidien (1991-1998). No prior training is required. Participants will be invited to form groups. THEPort Association in partnership with the Geneva Creativity Center (GCC), the SITG, the HUG and TPG have have joined together to organize this Open Geneva Hackathon 2016. Come along to form teams with individuals from the most various fields and backgrounds and with different age, gender and agenda, to face the challenge of creating your projects’ prototype in a tight 60 hours workshop and present it. The topics you will be asked to chose from are: Navigation for People with Visual Impairment, Forecasting Emergencies, On-line Hospital Registration, Health Data Collecting and Handling, Preventing Suicide by Tech-Assisted Means, and Sensor Sock for babies with Clubfoot. The public is welcome to attend the final presentations and entrance is free of charge!

Le TUBA, le « tube à expérimentations urbaines », l’Infolab du CRIJ Rhône-Alpes, leurs partenaires logement, Le CLLAJ de Lyon et l’URHAJ, la Ville de Lyon s’associent à l’événement de Fréquence Ecoles, Super Demain pour organiser #CheckMyHome, le premier Hackathon dédié à la question du logement des jeunes sur la métropole de Lyon, les 18 et 19 mars, aux Subsistances, avec le soutien de la Région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes et de son magasin d’application rapplic. L’occasion pour des équipes composées de jeunes graphistes, développeurs et designers d’inventer des solutions qui permettront d’améliorer l’accès au logement des jeunes sur l’agglomération lyonnaise en répondant à ces questions : comment lutter contre les représentations et les stéréotypes sur les quartiers ? Comment mieux intégrer les coûts cachés du logement ? Comment mieux ajuster offres et demandes en connaissant mieux les entrées/sorties dans les logements sociaux, jeunes et étudiants, etc.
