    NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019

    The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists that will take place in Berlin and in other cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. Space Apps 2018 included over 18,000 participants at more than 200 events in 75 countries. This year’s event will take place on October 18-20, 2019. The Berlin event will see the attendance of 25-30 people that will work on teams (or individually) on solving NASA-provided challenges. This event is currently in planning - more details such as sponsors and rewards for participants will be announced soon! You can join the hackathon as an individual or as a team.       The hubraum Cloud XR Hackathon will take place this September 13-15 at hubraum in Berlin. Invited to join are developers, UX/UI designers, data scientists and software architects who are eager to build interesting AR/MR/VR apps using the cloud. The challenge will be to come up with creative ideas, using the soft- and hardware provided by the hackathon tech partners.           We want to invite you to a day of fun and hacking and are going to kickstart 2019's js13kGames coding competition on August 17th. As a special guest and master of ceremony, the competition's creator, game developer and Mozilla Tech Speaker Andrzej Mazur is going to visit us. He will guide us through the day, present some insights into the game development scene and be available for general mentoring throughout the day. While the main focus is on working on your game, you will get the chance to network with other game devs and play on real arcade machines.
