What if we told you that one of the most ambitious and disruptive innovation labs in Berlin would hire you in just one day. Would you believe us? MBition - Mercedes-Benz Innovation Lab is scouting talented individuals specialised in the fields of Software Development, UX/UI Design, DevOps and Data Science. Instead of taking the conventional route to scout, MBition is hosting a three-day code fest to bring in individuals ready to join its team.

HACKATHON: Förderung für Entwicklung innovativer Sprachlern-Angebote Wie beeinflussen die digitale Vernetzung und der technische Fortschritt unsere Lernprozesse und die Art und Weise, Fremdsprachen zu lehren und lernen? Und wie kann man die neuen Technologien gezielt einsetzen, um das Sprachenlernen nachhaltig zu verbessern? Diese Fragen stehen im Zentrum der Werkstatt-Konferenz „Startklar?!“, die das Goethe-Institut vom 21. März bis zum 23. März 2018 in den Spreewerkstätten in Berlin ausrichtet.   Neben Workshops, Foren und Debatten internationaler Expertinnen und Experten zu Themen wie Virtuelle Realität, „Open Source“ oder „Digital Literacy“ sollen in einem Hackathon (22. März, ab 16.30 Uhr) zukunftsfähige Projektideen und Modelle entwickelt werden, um das Fremdsprachenlernen mit digitalen Medien leichter und attraktiver zu gestalten. Zu dem Hackathon eingeladen sind Software-Entwickler, Designerinnen, Programmierer, Wissenschaftler aber auch Sprachlehrende und -lernende, Didaktikerinnen, Pädagogen, Künstlerinnen und Studierende dieser Fachbereiche. In interdisziplinären Teams können sie ihre Ideen entwickeln, die sich an der Schnittstelle von Bildung, Technologie und Fremdsprachenerwerb bewegen. Ein Warm-Up findet bereits am Mittwoch, den 21. März 2018 um 16 Uhr statt, um sich in Teams zusammenzufinden und erste Ideen zu entwickeln. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Eine Anmeldung ist möglich unter: www.goethe.de/startklar-hackathon Zusätzlich sind alle Teilnehmenden der „Startklar?!“-Konferenz eingeladen, am Freitag, den 23. März 2018 ab 9 Uhr im Rahmen der „Freiräume“ ebenfalls an der Entwicklung von Projektideen teilzunehmen. Die Ergebnisse des Hackathons und der „Freiräume“ werden anschließend einer Expertenjury präsentiert. Die besten Projekte erhalten eine Förderung durch das Goethe-Institut. PREISE UND FÖRDERUNG Der Preis der Jury für das beste Projekt aus dem Hackathon oder der Projektphase „Freiräume“ erhält ein Preisgeld von 1.000 Euro und ein Förderpaket von 10.000 Euro. ConnHack is a format of the Innovation Center Connected Living e.V. and its partners SAP, Vattenfall, innogy, conrad connect, TU Berlin (DAI-Laboratory), Fresh Energy, IOLITE and Signal Cruncher.
