WELCOME! On December 14th we'll meet up with all Hack Belgium fans in Liege. If you'd like an update on what the results of Hack Belgium 2017 were and what we'll do differently in 2018, do join. They recently got funding by Deutsche Bank after winning their Hackathon for the Finanz.guru App. We're happy to host them once again in our meetup. We’re excited which further steps they have taken.  2.) Personal Business Machine (Ingo Gregus  - PBS AG) Personal Business Machine is a Cologne based InsurTech which aims to personalize the digital customer dialogue. Big data scientists, developers, marketers, and designers in the Netherlands! You're invited to participate in Hack4SmartServices - MaaS (Mobility as a Service). You'll collaborate with like-minded individuals to design and prototype an innovative technical solution to one of four given mobility challenges.

Ganz falsch ist das ja auch nicht, allerdings gehört zu der Entwicklung wesentlich mehr als das Verbinden von Bildern. Wie schnell soll der Charakter gehen? Wie hoch soll er springen? Welche Hindernisse soll es geben, in welcher Frequenz sollen sie auftauchen? Diese und noch viel mehr Fragen müssen bei der Entwicklung eines Spiels beantwortet werden. Gefordert sind Fähigkeiten wie logisches und mathematisches Denken, räumliches Denkvermögen, Teamfähigkeit, Problemlösungskompetenz, Kreativität.  Dein Trainer ist kein geringerer als Matthias Seyfferth - ein professioneller Spieleentwickler bei Ubisoft Bluebyte.  Unter Anleitung von Matthias arbeitet ihr weitestgehend selbständig und löst Probleme. Der NRW Hackathon richtet sich an alle, die Spaß an offenen Daten haben und beim #NRWHack testen wollen, welcher Nutzen und welche Geschäftsideen in Open-Data-Anwendungen stecken können. Los geht es am Freitag mit einem Warmup für alle Open-Data-Enthusiasten, die bei spannenden Workshops frisches Know-How und erste Ideen für den Coding-Samstag sammeln können … Der Samstag steht dann ganz im Zeichen eurer Datenprojekte und dem Spaß am gemeinsamen Coden: Mitmachen können DesignerInnen, ProgrammiererInnen, Web-EntwicklerInnen, Studierende und Lehrende – und alle interessierten Bürger und Bürgerinnen. Die Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen arbeiten dabei in Teams zusammen, die zu Beginn des Hackathons am Samstag gebildet werden.
