The first Voith hackathon will be held in Munich on July 22 and 23, 2019. Participants will need to solve real, data-based challenges from Voith Turbo’s area of business with the aid of algorithms, wireframes, programs or business model ideas. The #turbohackathon gives you a unique opportunity to showcase your talent before the eyes of all the top Managers from a global Technology company. L&T Technology Services is on a mission to engineer change for the masses by leveraging ground-breaking technologies at the ER&D Hackathon on June 14-15, 2019 in Munich. You’ll have 24 hours to collaborate with like-minded experts and LTTS stakeholders to develop solutions that can engineer change for billions of lives. The hackathon has three different challenges to tackle, but it’s up to you to decide which one you’ll take on : Mobility, Healthcare or Factories !

Challenge 1: Hacking Antibiotic Resistance: 50 000 people die every year from multidrug resistant bacterial pathogens. Antibiotics are failing as the one-drug-fits-all concept was outsmarted by evolution. Today, diagnose and treatments can be tailored individually for every patient needs. Use our lab automation and synthetic biology toolset to prototype tomorrows clinical processes to solve the antibiotic crisis with personalisable therapy and clinical hygiene concepts. Challenge 2: Bio-Tournament: Hack evolution and outsmart your opponent bacterial cultures. Advance your microfluidic workstation and overcome the opponents cells with phages and resistance breeding. Engineer your strains and acquire new functions with directed evolution. Form a team, build your own lab-on-a-chip technology and apply your setup in a real-time biological competition against other teams to take over as much space on the agar playground as possible. Auf welche Weise könnte Technologie den gesamten Beratungsprozesses von treffender Risikobewertung bis zum Erhalt des Geldes nach einem Schadensfall optimieren? Daher muss die digitale Interaktion zwischen dem Kunden und seinem Geldinstitut zwingend umfassend verwertet werden. Eure Challenge: Wie können mit PSD2, Online- und Mobilebanking Risikobewertungen verbessert, wie die Versicherungsportfolios der Kunden optimiert werden?
