IBM Watson was designed to analyse, evaluate and interpret enormous amounts of unstructured data within split seconds, based on natural language. Watson approaches human cognitive abilities and has enormous potential for future applications in industry and society. If you're tech savvy and interested in the culture of northern Germany, then come participate in the first regional event of Coding Da Vinci. You're challenged to awaken the creative digital potential that lies in our heritage. Collaborate with like-minded people and create apps, websites, data visualizations and new devices to display the digitized treasures of northern German cultural institutions in a contemporary light.

Maritime Hackathon is inviting all young hardware and software developers to come to Hamburg for a 24-hour hacking session to meet each other and develop something great! The ticket fee will include drinks, food and everything you might need. Please bring your own laptop.

**SALES ENDED** SehenHörenTeilen ist der erste Hackathon von NDR & ARD-aktuell zusammen mit (und organisiert von) next media accelerator  in Hamburg.  In 2,5 Tagen werden wir in kleinen spontanen Teams an allen möglichen - Deinen - Ideen rund um Medien, Bewegtbild, News, Content, Social Media, Digitalisierung, Content Creation und Distribution und Media Transformation arbeiten. Bring Deine Idee mit, konzepte, hacke, baue, validiere und verfeinere so gut und schnell Du kannst und sichere Dir einen der Preise oder Sonderpreise! Du bekommst Unterstützung und Mitstreiter, vielleicht Mitgründer, vielleicht Freunde für's Leben, vielleicht einen Platz im Accelerator... Eigentlich sollte jeder eine Idee mitbringen - hier ist die einmalige Gelegenheit, sie in Rekordzeit auf die Beine zu stellen. Aber auch wenn Du keine Idee hast, bring Deine Fachkenntnis, Fähigkeiten und Dein Netzwerk ein! Triff andere Teilnehmer aus verschiedenen Branchen und Fachgebieten – Manager, Marketer, Ingenieure, Entwickler, Bastler, Künstler. Arbeite intensive 2,5 Tage  in einer Startup-Atmosphäre in A-Teams mit McGuyver-Attitüde und präsentiere am Ende valide Konzepte oder sogar greifbare Produkte mit ersten Kunden. Die tagesschau stellt für den Hackathon APIs zu Datenfeeds für ihre Apps auf mobilen und anderen Devices zur Verfügung, Die Teilnehmer können auf diese Feeds strukturiert zugreifen und neue Apps / Angebote damit bauen. Der NDR stellt Mentoren vom Online Service Center (Webentwicklung/Webmaster NDR.de) mit diversem NDR-API-Knowhow.  Google bringt einen Haufen Cardboards, ein paar Kameras zum Spielen und Experten und Mentoren zu VR mit.  Neben den Preisen "Best Overall" (1.000 EUR), "Most Innovative" (500 EUR) und "Best Pitch" (200 EUR) wird es einen Sonderpreis "VR in News" (500 EUR) geben. Wenn Du ein Team hast oder Gäste mitbringen willst: Sehr gern (alle müssen sich einzeln anmelden!) - zeig was Du kannst - nimm mit, was Du magst.
