Inspiriert vom erfolgreichen Make Zurich-Hackathon bringen wir die lokale Maker-Community zusammen und erforschen mithilfe von offenen Netzwerken, LoRaWan und Civic Tech neue Herangehensweisen an die Herausforderungen in unserer Stadt. Mit “Civic Tech” ist Technologie gemeint, die es Bürgern ermöglicht, unabhängig von entsprechenden Maßnahmen der Regierung digitale Infrastrukturen für ihre Stadt zu bauen. Alle Erfahrungen, die wir dabei sammeln und Technologien, die wir während dieses zweitägigen Hackathons entwickeln, sollen weitergegeben und -verwertet werden können, damit alle etwas davon haben. Alles, was du zu unserem ersten eintägigen Workshop am 9. Juni mitbringen musst, ist dein Laptop und ein paar Ideen für eine bessere Stadt! How? By using open networks, LoRaWan and civic tech – technology that enables citizens to build infrastructure for their city, instead of governments building it. All lessons learned and technologies developed during this 2-day hackathon are meant to be shared and reproduced, so that everyone can benefit from them. Cameroonian hackers in Europe! Coalition Digitale invites you to participate in the Hackathon Challenge Mboa Diaspora. The 5 best innovators of the diaspora will be selected during the Cameroonian Challenge in Stuttgart. The winner will receive a ticket to Cameroon for the continuation of the competition.

On 19th – 21st May 2017, EIT Health Germany GmbH, Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V. and Heidelberg University will organize the second “{Life Science} meets IT” Hackathon in Heidelberg. This unique event will bring together enthusiastic young professionals and students to develop innovative solutions for current and future healthcare challenges with the help of IT. Young entrepreneurs, engineers, IT specialists, designers and many more are invited to join this inspiring event.

Virtual Reality ist ein Trend, der die digitale Unterhaltung nachhaltig verändert. Die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten reichen von Filmen über Computerspiele bis zur virtuellen Probefahrt in neuen Automodellen. Vom 24. bis 26. März sollen beim 2. VR-Hackathon in Baden-Württemberg die Potenziale von Virtual Reality ausgelotet werden. Veranstaltet wird der Hackathon vom SAE Institute Stuttgart in Kooperation mit dem Spielestudio realitysolutions. Programmierer, Grafiker, Soundspezialisten, Game Designer und VR-Begeisterte sind zur Teilnahme eingeladen, um an einem Wochenende in Stuttgart gemeinsam Anwendungen für Virtual Reality zu entwickeln.
