KVK and Brightlands Smart Services Campus joined forces to organize a BrightHack, an exciting hackathon weekend (48 hours) on issues concerning Crime, Health, International Trade and Education from Friday November 30 until Sunday December 2 at the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen (Smedestraat 2). Do you want to work with real datasets of the Police, Accenture, the Province of Limburg and KVK (Netherlands Chamber of Commerce)? Are you up for a challenge? Claim your seat and get the chance to win incredible prizes.  The first prize at each track is an assignment worth €12.500. There are also second and third prizes, such as festival tickets, experiences and trips. In total there are prizes for more than € 60.000 to win! Teams will be judged at the end of the competition on four criteria: execution, performance, design quality, and creativity.  Obviously, we provide a nice distraction with fun and entertainment. Not only gaming and table football but also surprising activities. We reserved tents (including air beds) for all participants that will be staying inside the building. Important! Remember to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and toiletries. #Medienberghack18 Hack, Worscht & Woi 48 Stunden denken. 48 Stunden programmieren. 48 Stunden basteln, rätseln, verwerfen, verbessern. 48 Stunden für die eine großartige Idee, den einen beeindruckenden Prototypen. Beim ersten gemeinsamen Hackathon von VRM und Hochschule Mainz treffen sich die digitalen, kreativen Köpfe der Region auf dem Mainzer Medienberg.  Vom 8. bis zum 10. November findet der #Medienberghack18 in der Zentrale der VRM, zu der auch diese Zeitung gehört, statt. Afin d’appréhender les évolutions IOT (Internet Of Things) et de comprendre les grands enjeux de ces technologies, Excellium vous propose une journée dédiée à cette problématique  le 19 octobre 2018 à l’hotel Novotel Kirchberg.  L’événement permettra d’aborder des enjeux techniques d’un point de vue académique mais aussi dans divers univers industriels, tels que la sécurisation des applications, la sécurité et la mobilité, GDPR, Industrie 4.0, Smart Cities, Véhicule Autonome, ... En parallèle de la journée un Hackaton est organisé, ouvert aux étudiants comme aux professionnels par équipes de 3 à 5 participants.
