Google I/O Extended 2018 Nashik
13 May - 10:00 AM
Nashik, India
What is Google I/O?
Google I/O (simply I/O) is an annual developer conference held by Google in San Francisco, California. I/O showcases technical in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open sources such as Android, Chrome and Chrome OS, APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.
What are Google I/O extended events?
Google I/O extended events are focused on bringing the local developers community together to experience keynote and other Google I/O sessions, in real time. They also offer unique activities targeted for the audience such as hackathons and hands-on labs. In 2017, developers hosted 534 extended viewing parties and many more joined online.
IMP: This is a community-driven event and Google is just sponsoring the event.
This event is completely FREE
3. The event involves Google I/O event viewing party followed by some networking and hands-on CodeLabs as mentioned in the schedule and prescribed by Google.
4. And one important Notice regarding an event date: Due to some logistic issues we have to shift event date to 13th May. Sorry for the inconvenience.
5. Some people are planning to come explicitly from outside Nashik to attend this event. I will insist that they should first find I/O extended event nearby to their location as there are hundreds of communities organizing the same event all over India. If you are in Nashik during this period then do attend the event.
6. We are not gonna sponsor any traveling charges and all for attendees.
And yes share the event on social media including Twitter, Facebook etc. with #ioextendednashik and grab a chance to win attractive Google Merchandise.
We also have some quizzes and giveaways by Google planned on the same day so don't miss a chance to take a cool Google Merchandise home.
