      inGenius is an annual 24-hour hackathon hosted by PESU-ECC, Bangalore for college students. Returning after seven successful iterations, inGenius 2019 is bigger than ever! Our Open Hack theme allows participants to bring their best ideas forward and showcase their passion for technology. This year we are also proud to launch GirlGeeksHack, a 24-hour hackathon in association with IEEE Computer Society Bangalore to promote Women in Computing (WiC). This event aims to empower women to participate in and contribute to the evolution of computer science, and encourage leadership. GGH will be open to people from all walks of life, on the condition that minimum 50% ofeach team be composed of women. In orderto participate, teams have to submit their problem statements and a synopsis of their solution at the link provided below. Teams will be shortlisted for the final event based on their idea submissionsand only those teams have to make the payment for registration. Both events will provide opportunities to interact with mentors, and industry experts opening up doors for innovation and growth. For the 2019 Developer Circles Community Challenge, you are invited to build software applications that use at least one of three featured technologies:React360, Spark AR, and/or HTML5 Games.Your software must also fit into one of three categories: Gaming and Entertainment, Productivity and Utility, or Social Good.             • The theme of the Hackathon is "Social Innovation" - the solution/innovation must use Digital (IT) Technologies. • The specific problem statement will be mailed to the participants by the 10th April, 2 days prior to the event. Participants can then use the next two days before the Hackathon starts to conceptualize their solutions and arrange for pre-requisites. The two main goals of this Hackathon are to seek solutions to Social Challenges in our country and also to connect participant Students to corporates through this event for placement and internships. A number of corporates are going to bring campus openings and internships in the Hackathon. Interviews for select candidates will be held on the 3rd Day at the venue.
