Big Android Academy Hackathon

The Big Android Academy Hackathon on its way!We will gather for 24 hours to challenge ourselves, push the boundaries of our knowledge and have a lot of fun!Any idea, any complexity, any API or SDK to use. The main idea - to design things, write code, talk, share and dance! :)
Group:At least 1 designer & 1 developer.
Times:
15.3 15:00: Hackathon registration and work begins16.3 13:00 App presentation16.3 14:00: Hackathon ends16.3 14:01 Hugs, Kisses and drive home safely.
An idea for Application:You freely to work on anything you would like to. The goal to have an application with one full feature working.
What to bring:
Smile & Hugs
Comfortable cloth/Costume (you invited to be creative!)
Toothbrush and Personal Hygienic staff
Laptop with Android Studio, Git, AVD installed and working properly
Power cable for laptop
Android device with data cable for testing
Application for submission:
Design: At least one full user flow entirely designed
Development: At least three screens with different design, working flow, and at least one network call
What should you know before the Hackathon

On 11/3 we'll meet for a pre-hackathon special event to talk about some of the awesome tools you can use during your app development.
We'll talk about:
** Firebase Essentials by Yonatan Levin - Storage, notifications, Cloud functions, Authentication and much more...
** Essential third-party libraries by Shem Magnezi (WeWork) to help you speed up your development process: Retrofit, Picasso, Joda Time, 3rd party UI Elements etc.
Also, we're going to have special guests from Intuit & Vonage that will share their amazing work with us and give us a peek into the feature of their work on the mobile front.

Meet the mentor

Right before the hackathon begins it's a time to prepare yourself & the team:
Meeting the mentor in person and get to know each other
Discuss the idea for the app
Choosing one feature that will be implemented during the hackathon
Discuss and decide on user flow with design mentor
Discuss and decide design & animations with design mentor
Discuss and decide on Software Architecture with development mentor (Classes, Methods, Patterns)
Discuss possible APIs to use.
Decide on homework each participant will do/research
The event is mandatory for the participants.
