This 12-hour event will be held at the Lecco campus of the Polytechnic University of Milan. You'll get to collaborate with like-minded individuals to develop social and environmental entrepreneurial project ideas that have the potential to help improve tourism in the Lecco region.

Hack@MI 2020 The first hackathon for STEM(A) focused on a smart and sustainable future | pre-registration opening on the 3rd of February.
Hack@MI will be the first hackathon for students, graduates and professionals STEM(A) [STEM + Art] dedicated to a smart and sustainable future and organized by an italian city.
As a part of the project STEM in the City 2020 https://www.steminthecity.eu, the event will take place in April, a month dedicated to STEM(A). The aim of the event, focused on the topics of sustainability and Gender Gap, is to foster the association of STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with the once developed during humanistic studies.
WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
Hack@MI will be composed of 9 qualification challenges that will determine the final teams that will be competing on the 28th of April in a 24h race of coding and analysis.
Online Qualification: from 01/04/2020 to 15/04/2020
Final: 28/04/2020 - 24h data challenge
WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
The online qualification will be developed on our platform Open Data Playground and they will last for two weeks.
The final race instead will take place in Milan and will last for 24h.
WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
STEM(A) students, graduates and professionals. The purpose is to solve the problems proposed in a data visualization and humanistic point of view.
To participate it is mandatory to create a team, following the following restriction:
Minimum number of players: 5
Women enrolled in the team: 2
Number of players with a humanistic background: 2
WHO IS ORGANIZING THE CHALLENGES?
All the challenges are organized by Open Search Network in collaboration with the final clients that will support the event.
WHAT WILL THE RACES BE FOCUSED ON?
The races will focus on Sustainability and Future issues. During the month of February we will notify you the sponsors and the hackathon rules.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT?
Sign up to Eventbrite and you will receive updates about the organization of Hack@MI 2020
You can sign up as a Single, and then join a team later on, or instead you can register as Member of a Team and create a team (protected by a password shared with the other members of the team) or sign up to an existing team.

Il primo hackathon per STEM(A) dedicato a un futuro smart e sostenibile
HACK@MI sarà il primo hackathon per laureati, laureandi e professionisti in materie STEM(A) [STEM + Arte] dedicato a un futuro smart e sostenibile organizzato da una città italiana.
Parte del palinsesto STEM in the City 2020 https://www.steminthecity.eu/, si terrà ad aprile, mese dedicato alle STEM(A), e presterà particolare attenzione al tema della sostenibilità e al problema della parità di genere (Gender Gap), per favorire la commistione delle competenze STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) con quelle sviluppate durante percorsi di studio in ambito umanistico.
QUANDO?
Hack@MI sarà strutturato in 9 gare di qualifica che determineranno i team finalisti che andranno ad affrontarsi il 28 aprile in una 24h di codice e analisi.

DOVE SI SVOLGE?
Le Qualifiche Online si svolgeranno su Open Data Playground e dureranno 2 settimane.
La Finale si svolgerà a Milano e durerà 24h.
A CHI È RIVOLTO?
Laureati, laureandi e professionisti in materie STEM(A) [STEM + materie umanistiche]. L'obiettivo è approcciare i problemi proposti sia dal un punto di vista dei dati che da un punto di vista umanistico.
Per partecipare bisogna formare un team rispettando i seguenti vincoli:
Numero minimo giocatori: 5
Numero di donne iscritte al team: 2
Numero di giocatori con un background in ambito umanistico: 2
CHI ORGANIZZA LE GARE?
Le gare saranno organizzare da Open Search Network in collaborazione con i clienti finali che sponsorizzeranno l'evento.
SU COSA SARANNO FOCALIZZATE LE GARE?
Le gare saranno focalizzate su problemi di Sostenibilità e Futuro. Durante il mese di Febbraio vi comunicheremo gli sponsor e il regolamento dell'hackathon.
