Culture-Builder.Does everything that's needed to build innovative product-businesses; and great, sustainable companies.  Formerly Head of UI/UX @Viki (acquired in 2013 by Rakuten for $200M); Director of Product Managemnet @RedMart (acquired in 2016 by Lazada for a reported $40M), Howie is the Co-founder & Head of Product at The Commissioned, a marketplace network connecting discerning individuals and businesses with talented artists from all around the world, enabling them to create bespoke art pieces that are deeply personal and meaningful.  He is NFX alumni (W16), an invite-only Guild based in Silicon Valley for startups looking to accelerate growth and enhance defensibility, predominantly through the use of Network Effects.  Howie will be sharing about the principles and practical lessons on building and launching awesome softwares. TECHNOLOGY TRACK - Oh! My Jeju Global Hackathon Sharing SessionThe Coding Shophouse was in collaboration with J-space for a Global Hackathon in Jeju. 10 participants were selected after a pitching session organized in Penang. The participants were at Jeju for 3 days and 2 nights competing with a different representative from various countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and of course Korea themselves. All 10 participants representing The Coding Shophouse, Penang went in separate groups together with other countries and all of them came back with glory. The awards won by Penang team were "Grand Prize Award", "Most Outstanding Award", "Most Popular Award", "Excellence Award", "J-CCEI x NATEC" and "J-CCEI x The Coding Shophouse".  They will be sharing their experience at the Global Hackathon in Jeju.  AGENDA7:00pm - 7:30pm Registration7:30pm - 8:00pm 123 Ship It! by Howie Chang 8:00pm - 8:30pm Oh! This is the fourth DevCamp Penang organaized by the Google Developer Groups (GDG) George Town to inspire and develop more developers in the region with workshop training and hands on hackathons. There will be a Web Development workshop, your First Angular2 Application workshop, and a Hackathon. Come along to work closely with Google for open source & Google technologies!
