Hackathons are hacking marathons in which you compete to find the best solution for given problems. You can join to win prizes or just to learn and have fun. Dutch techies, developers, business people, sociologists, data scientists, or futurists! You're invited to participate in the Bright Future Hack in Eindhoven. You'll be challenged to come up with an innovative digital solution that can disrupt the cleaning industry. Come with an idea -- or a clean slate -- and create a solution that will show what the future of the cleaning industry can be.

After the first hackathon (astrohack) organized by DSGhent & TF Belgium last year, we are announcing our second hackathon!This year we will work on music generation based on MIDI files. No need to be a musician, we start the hackathon explaining the data and the problem with some sample code to help you get started.You are welcome the weekend of March 10 at DigitYser. The hackathon ends on Sunday with a ceremony awarding the winners. If you want to stay over, you can take your matras and sleeping bag and use the top floor to rest.

Welcome! The first Western Digital Hackathon, in collaboration with MongoDB, will be held in the beautiful Ghelamco Arena, Ghent from Friday the 9th until Sunday the 11th, March 2018. How many times have you encountered a problem with society? Have you ever wondered why there isn't a solution? Maybe you have an amazing idea and would like to see it turn into a project with like-minded persons. Come and join the WD Hackathon 2018. You’ll meet passionate people with different backgrounds and skills. Let’s put an end to these social and structural problems with society!  You don’t need to have a technical background or be an expert. Everyone who wants to make a change is welcome. Just bring your laptop, skills and lots of enthusiasm! The only requirement is the use of open data.  You can team up with your friends in advance or come with a collaborative team-focused mindset and scout for team members at the event. Teams will be limited to 5 members. We will provide the space, food, drinks and internet to keep you going! Hacking Health Valley in Nijmegen, is een #patientsincluded event waar technologie, ontwerp, ondernemerschap, gezondheidszorg en patiënten tijdens één weekend samenkomen. Het wordt gehouden in het weekend van vrijdag 20 tot zondag 22 april 2018. Hacking Health streeft naar de omzetting van de gezondheidszorg door teams te verbinden, die meestal nauwelijks samenwerken, die op zoek zijn naar human-centric oplossingen voor frontlinie gezondheidszorg problemen. Gedurende het weekend krijgen de deelnemers de gelegenheid om hun ideeën en problemen op het podium te plaatsen.Daarna vormen zij teams bestaande uit gezondheidswerkers, patiënten, programmeurs, ontwerpers en ondernemers om een ​​oplossing te vinden in twee en een halve dag. Aan het einde van het weekend geven de teams een presentatie van de resultaten en worden de winnaars geselecteerd door een multidisciplinair expert panel. Hacking Health Valley is onderdeel van Dutch Hacking Health, in het zelfde weekend worden meerdere hackathons georganiseerd in Nederland.  Tijdens de Meetup in het Radboudumc vertellen we je meer over wat je kunt verwachten tijdens het weekend in NIjmegen en hoe je je kunt voorbereiden, ook ontmoet je alvast mogelijke mede-deelnemers en gaan we aan de slag met een van de innovatie methodieken.

Participate as an individual, or as a memnber of a team! You'll get to design and prototypee an innovative solution to one of four Smart Charging challenges -- 1. Here Comes the Sun, 2. AutoTune (Talking Car), 3. Amsterdam Electric and Connected, or 4. Charge to the Max. Collaborate and compete for the € 2500 team prize of each of the challenges.

This workshop / datadive is organised in the run up to the yearly Apps For Ghent hackathon. This year we'll explore Ghent in Space! Participation is free but registration is required! You're invited to participate in Hack de Valse Start -- a hackathon that focuses on the issue of inequality in education. Come and collaborate with like-minded people to come up with innovative solutions that will help young people begin their life course without a false start.

Mobility of the Future '18 is the innovation summit about the mobility of the future. On friday the 23th of February you can enjoy a full day of national and international speakers about three topics: "Urban Mobility & City Design", "Smart & Sustainable Mobility" and "Connected & Autonomous Vehicles". With Lukas Neckermann (the mobility revolution), M. Colville Andersen (copenhagenize) and one anonymous guest we have three world class players in the field of mobility. They will share their vision around the three topics of #MOTF18. Afterwards 24 speakers will, divided in three break - out rooms, go into depth around the three topics. Each speaker will have a 15" talk followed by a q&a. We end the summit with an excellent speaker around innovation and a closing debate. Afterwards there will be a diner and networking drink.
