Social Media HackBorne: What makes citizens in Borne Community tick? #ophackborne
04 Nov - 08:30 AM
Borne, Netherlands
Social Media: What makes citizens in Borne council tick?   In the Virtual world of the internet, Councils want to know how they can serve their citizens by knowing what their thoughts are. What makes them “tick” in social media (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.) . And are there new insights available due to innovative combinations of datasets? Are you the one who can help Borne Council to see what the current affairs are?  Can you tell whether the messages in social media are based on facts or fiction? Can you identify the biggest influencers in Borne Community? Are we able to capture the the thoughts and feelings of the people who usually are not vocal? Those are some of the challenges that you are being asked to solve during the Borne Innovation Hackathon. Besides the datasets that you will get during the Hackathon, we are also challenging you to bring your own social media sources, or explain how you are able to access them. We are looking forward to your solutions!!
