German techies and professionals in the Food Sector! The DIL German Institute for Food Technology invites you to participate in the EIT FOOD MAKEathon - from forest to fork - Online and Presence. You'll be part of an event focused on the promotion and increased consumption of game meat (venison). Due to Covid-19, only 12 participants will be on-site, while keynote speeches, team meetings with experts, and pitching will be online. You will be challenged to create product concepts and business models to address one or both of the following: Ways to promote game meat as healthy, sustainable, and ecologically-sound New products or applications better tailored to the market. Der shortcut:hackathon ist eine zweitägige Veranstaltung für Studierende, Auszubildende und jede/n, die oder der Interesse an der Programmierung innovativer und mehrwertbringender Lösungen hat und bereits Programmierkenntnisse besitzt. Hinter der Veranstaltungsreihe „shortcut“ stehen wir, die LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH, die Rosen Gruppe in Lingen und die Bernard KRONE Holding SE & Co. KG. Bereits zuvor haben zwei weitere gemeinsame Veranstaltungen stattgefunden. The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using video games – it is very universal. The weekend stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression. It is all condensed into a 48 hour development cycle. The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity.
