Each team will need a set of (Unity) Developers and at least one Designer or 3D artist to make sure you can create an amazing experience for KPN NetwerkNL. We’re looking for: (Unity) Developers Video Editors Visual 3D Artists Animators Visual Designers Marketers Artists in general What will I be doing? You will create an amazing interactive VR-experience for KPN NetwerkNL that is fit for an Oculus Go. Your digital solution will attract visitors to the KPN NetwerkNL information point and will educate them about all the possibilities the ground has to offer, about opportunities that fuel the innovation of the future. You’ll be briefed completely during the Hackathon kick-off. How does it work? The weekend will be filled with VR, developing and a lot of pizza (which we'll provide you with). On the 22nd of March, we'll present you with the complete assignment given by KPN. You and your teammates are free to use the Wirelab Office for the entire weekend to create your proof of concept. What's in it for me?For starters, the winning team will receive an Oculus Go for every team member. Besides this, there's a chance you get the opportunity to turn your proof of concept into a production-ready digital solution with a Wirelab team (conditional). Sign up yourself and four teammates and get ready to create the best virtual experience. P.S.: Coming over with a team (maximum of 5 members per team)? Make sure you include at least two (Unity) Developers and a 3D Artist or Designer to create a mind-blowing proof of concept. Don’t have a complete team? Don’t worry! We’ll make sure you’ll be included in one or create a team of people who don’t have a team yet. ----------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions Can I park my car at the venue?Wirelab's Mothership is located in downtown Enschede. You can park your car in one of the car park (the nearest one is named Stationsplein, the cheapest one is Q-Park Zuidmolen). Yet, our office is a one minute walk away from the train- and bus station, so you might want to travel with public transport. Will the Hackathon include lunch and dinner?Yes, we'll make sure you can grab a bagel in the afternoon and a pizza in the evening. During the day, we'll make sure our fridge and tables are filled with (non-)alcoholic drinks and snacks. Free of charge! Can I spend the night?Though we keep our office open until the last person leaves, unfortunately, we don't have any beds set-up during the Hackathon. Check with your teammates if you can bunk with them or book a room at the Intercity Hotel, right above the Wirelab Mothership. Who can I reach out to if I have any questions? You can reach out to our organizer Cheryl, who you can send an email on cheryl@wirelab.nl.
