              SMART LOGISTICS HACKATHON

              Wat is de uitdaging? Door concurrerende logistieke voorzieningen kunnen we een logistieke hotspot blijven binnen Europa. Nederland groeit nog steeds als doorvoerland. Bouwen we nu al aan de juiste infrastructuur, dan lopen we straks voorop binnen smart logistics. Het wegenstelsel van Nederland is straks niet alleen een offline, maar ook een online netwerk waar we bergen data vandaan kunnen halen. Dat maakt interessante logistieke innovaties mogelijk, zoals zelfrijdende trucks of verkeer dat met stoplichten communiceert. Door de groeiende berg logistieke data te koppelen, kunnen straks niet alleen problemen op de weg voorspellen, maar ook oplossen. Onder anderen twee van deze problemen hebben te maken met het logistieke vrachtverkeer in Nederland. Daarom organiseert Matrixian Group op zaterdag 20 oktober een Smart Logistics Hackathon. Vanaf 10:00 uur delen we kennis en gaan we aan de slag met nieuwe tools & technologieën om de bestaande infrastructuur te digitaliseren.   Voor wie is deze Hackathon bedoeld? De Smart Logistics Hackathon is bedoeld voor iedereen die is geïnteresseerd in oplossingen om logistiek Nederland slimmer, duurzamer en veiliger te maken met behulp van nieuwe technologie. Denk hierbij aan niet alleen aan developers, data scientisten en designers - maar ook aan logistiek managers, ondernemers en studenten.   Wat gaan we doen? Voor deze hackathon hebben we een aantal interessante data sets ontvangen om oplossingen te bouwen. Dat doen we met logistieke en locatie data afkomstig van de overheid. Deze data wordt uiteindelijk verwerkt op het Matrixian Platform, waaruit nieuwe inzichten en vervolgacties ontstaan. Aan het einde van de dag worden de oplossingen gepresenteerd en gedeeld met het Ministerie voor Infrastructuur en Waterstaat.   Data scientisten en engineers gaan deze dag aan de slag met open data, data mining, data science modellen, front-end development en mapping van data op kaarten. Uit ervaring weten we dat de resultaten van een Hackathon veel publiciteit op kunnen leveren. Vind je die dag zelf open data? Altijd welkom! We verwachten maximaal 15 deelnemers, die werken in groepen va 3-5 personen.    Wat is de locatie? De Hackathon wordt georganiseerd bij de Cool Classic Club, Energiestraat 3 in Naarden. Deze locatie ligt op een 10 minuten durende busrit (bus 110) van het treinstation Naarden-Bussem. De locatie is ook goed bereikbaar met de auto en er zijn voldoende parkeerplaatsen aanwezig.
