Social Media: What makes citizens in Borne council tick?   In the Virtual world of the internet, Councils want to know how they can serve their citizens by knowing what their thoughts are. What makes them “tick” in social media (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.) . And are there new insights available due to innovative combinations of datasets? Are you the one who can help Borne Council to see what the current affairs are?  Can you tell whether the messages in social media are based on facts or fiction? Can you identify the biggest influencers in Borne Community? Are we able to capture the the thoughts and feelings of the people who usually are not vocal? Those are some of the challenges that you are being asked to solve during the Borne Innovation Hackathon. Besides the datasets that you will get during the Hackathon, we are also challenging you to bring your own social media sources, or explain how you are able to access them. We are looking forward to your solutions!! Wat zeggen Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc) En wat kan een (nieuwe) bundeling van sets van andere data ons leren? Ben jij degene die kan achterhalen wat echt leeft binnen de Gemeente Borne? Kun jij vaststellen of berichten in Social Media gebaseerd zijn op feiten of fictie? Kun jij degene of het platform identificeren die de meeste invloed heeft in social media? Is het mogelijk om meningen of behoeften  van mensen op te vangen die we gewoonlijk niet te horen krijgen? Dit zijn een aantal uitdagingen waarmee we aan de slag willen tijdens de Innovatie Hack Borne. Naast de datasets die je van ons krijgt, dagen we je ook uit om eigen social datasets mee te nemen of aan te geven hoe je de social media uit het internet kan oogsten. Zaterdag 4 november organiseren we de eerste Media Hackathon van Noord-Holland Tijdens dit eendaagse developers-event krijg jij als innovatieve programmeur 6 uur de tijd om aan een interessante uitdaging te werken. Uiteraard heb je voldoende tijd om de opdracht af te ronden en anders helpen we je op weg. De opdracht (php/js)Je krijgt van ons data ter beschikking. Vanuit daar ga je zelf iets ontwikkelen. Heb je een innovatief backend idee of juist een gaaf frontend concept? Jij bepaalt. De 10 beste resultaten worden aan het einde van de middag gepresenteerd aan de zaal. Een jury beslist vervolgens wie er met die nieuwe MacBook gaat shinen. Compleet verzorgde dagUiteraard is de dag compleet verzorgd met drinks, food, snacks, gaming en relaxing. Mis het dus niet!

Desire of Innovation Hackathon Samen lossen we het onoplosbare op Kan een app eenzame mensen helpen?Mensen met hersenletsel die vastlopen, hoe help je die aan de juiste zorg?Wat moet je doen om een verpleegkundige meer tijd voor zorg te geven en minder voor administratie? Ken jij problemen in de zorg die maar niet opgelost worden? Wil jij helpen om ze te doorbreken? What the hack?Innovatie voor zorg is hot! Maar het vuurtje mag best wat harder branden, want er zijn nog genoeg problemen die onoplosbaar lijken. De eerste Desire of Innovation Hackathon brengt mensen met zo'n wicked problem en creatieve breinen bij elkaar. Samen lossen we het onoplosbare op. We gaan het zorgsysteem hacken! Hoe? Door kunst, zorg en techniek 12 uur in een innovatiebroedplaats uit te dagen.  Hacking the system! In Innovitapark spelen we 28 oktober de innovation game. De start is een probleem waar de zorg al jaren mee worstelt. Iets wat via de normale weg maar niet opgelost wordt. Je gaat verschillende levels doorlopen om na 12 uur een oplossing te hebben die ook echt uitgeprobeerd wordt en de zorg vernieuwt. Tijdens de hackathon krijg je hulp van coaches en inspirerende sprekers. Terwijl je de hackathon speelt, krijg je een vitality check en speel je toffe side games. Daarmee verdien je voordelen in de hackathon, zoals een Pecha Kucha-training, extra adviestijd van coaches of mag je tijd stelen van de andere deelnemers.  Hoe zien die 12 uur eruit?Op zaterdag 28 oktober om 09:00 uur starten we met een kick off. Je ontmoet de hackers, krijgt inspirerende verhalen en voorbeelden te horen en gaat met een wicked problem aan de slag. In het Innovitapark in het creatieve havengebied van Roosendaal wordt met muziek en lekkere hapjes keihard gewerkt om de eerste levels te halen. Eind van de ochtend heb je een concept gepresenteerd en is jouw team gevormd. De dag staat vol met uitdagingen en games, met maar 1 doel: om 20:00 uur presenteer je een briljante en creatieve oplossing met jouw team. Een professionele jury beoordeelt de plannen en gaat er voor zorgen dat ze ook echt uitgeprobeerd worden. Om 21:00 uur schuiven we de speakers verder open en start het feest. We hebben elkaars kennis en ervaring hard nodig om de wicked problems te breken. Weet je niet hoe zorg of techniek werkt? Mooi om aan te sluiten. Denk in mogelijkheden en niet in beperkingen.
