Design enthusiasts in the Netherlands! If you're planning to attend the Frame Lab & Frame Awards Show, then you're invited to participate in the hackathon that will be held in conjunction with the Lab. The hackathon theme will be "What Remains From the Analogue World?" Collaborate with like-minded individuals and compete for recognition and prizes.

Techies in the Netherlands! If you're interested in using technology to help advance social good, then you're invited to participate in the Social Impact Lab. You'll be challenged to apply your technical skills and creativity to design digital solutions that will help one or more of four social enterprises from outside The Hague to get up and running in the city and create employment opportunities for residents who are out of work.

Internet of Things enthusiasts! If you're planning on attending The Things Conference, then make sure that you participate in the hackathon at the event. At the conference, you'll learn all you need to know about LoRaWAN. You'll then get the chance to put what you've learned into practice during The Things Conference hackathon.

Techies interested in the construction sector! If you're planning to attend GEVEL 2018 in Rotterdam, then be sure to sign up to participate in the Construction Hackathon during the event. The municipality of Amsterdam is looking for solutions to limit the nuisance caused by noise and particulate matter from road traffic. Present your project to a panel of judges for a chance to win a leading project with a marquee client.

IoT techies and data scientists in and around Amsterdam! You're invited to participate in the IoT Meets Data Science Hackathon. This event is cosponsored by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the IoT Academy, and the Amsterdam Arena. The theme of this 3-day event is crowd management and you'll be challenged to use Internet of Things and data science technologies to design an innovative solution that will help the Amsterdam Arena manage the flow of visitors to the Arena.

Op donderdag 25 en vrijdag 26 januari vindt in Eindhoven de "Super Toegankelijk" hackathon plaats, waarbij Visio en Albert Heijn de uitdaging aangaan met allerlei deelnemende partijen om boodschappen doen toegankelijk te maken voor alle klanten ongeacht (visuele) beperkingen. Als voorbereiding op de hackathon "Super Toegankelijk" organiseren wij een meetup om kennis te maken met mensen met een visuele beperking, andere teamgenoten tijdens de hackathon en krijg je een voorproefje van de problemen die mensen met een visuele beperking ervaren tijdens het boodschappen doen. Door middel van pitches doen een aantal deelnemers hun verhaal over het doen van boodschappen ondanks hun visuele beperking en wellke barrieres zij daarbij ondervinden.  Aan de hand van korte presentaties krijg je inzicht in de verschillende visuele beperkingen en kan je zelf ervaren hoe het is dit is door het doen van ervaringsoefeningen. Tot slot gaan we met alle deelnemers op onderzoek naar welke mogelijke technologische oplossingen er op dit moment zijn. In dit onderdeel is ook ruimte om een eerste idee voor de hackathon alvast te toetsen bij mensen met een visuele beperking en/of komen we tot verdere ideeen om in de hackathon aan te gaan werken.  Meld je aan voor de meetup via de knop "registreer" op deze pagina (let op: het aantal plaatsen is beperkt).
