Are you ready to learn more about one of Norway's largest tech company? Join Cisco Norway's first Trondheim Student Hackathon! Did you know that Cisco Norway design and develop collaboration solutions used by 95% of the Fortune 500 companies? Now we are bringing our products to Trondheim and want YOU to make the next innovation that our customers will fall in love with!  We are calling all NTNU students with an interest in our Hackathon in Trondheim this October.What's in It for You? FIRST PLACE TEAM: Winners will be gifted a roundtrip ticket to Austin, Texas for one of the largest film, tech and music Conference & Festivals in the world held on March 13-22, 2020. Voice Enabled - Integrating voice technology with Cisco Collaboration Devices.How can voice interaction provide a delightful user experience with our products? Define a relevant use case and make a proof of concept showing how voice enabled products to provide new value to our customers. 2. Internet of Things  - How can sensors enable the workplace of the future? Explore how Cisco Collaboration solutions can use sensors to provide a frictionless workplace. Tap in to existing sensors in our products to create a proof of concept. 3. Smarter Workplace - How can we provide intelligent services that make peoples workflows more streamlined? Explore how Cisco Collaboration solutions can make use of AI and Machine learning and create a proof of concept. The hackathon will culminate with pitching to a panel of judges who will name the winner team.   The background: Learn more about the best video conference hardware and software technology in the world. We power the world's top companies like Apple, Facebook, Amazon and more.   The goal?  To revolutionize the way we communicate, help reduce carbon emissions and improve workforce efficiency and engagements.  What to expect: Learn more about AI, ML, and our Cisco Webex API's. Collaboration: You can either sign up as a team, or we will put teams together. We recommend creating an interdisciplinary team, but it’s not a must. You don’t have a team, but you have a good idea, or you just want to participate with your skillset? No problem, join the event and we’ll set you up with a team!  Mentorship: We will provide you with the right mentors to guide and help to develop your solution! Tap into our network of former NTNU experts in the industry and we’ll create something awesome together.    Get up to speed: Our experts will provide crash course over our product Wednesday night on 23 October. Free food and drinks will be provided.  APIs and data: We will provide you with APIs and data to get you going and start visualizing. This will enable your team, with support from our experts, to build a working prototype during the hackathon.
