UHACK IS BACK!
We are inviting all young professionals and college students from 3rd year to 5th year college student to form a team to join UNIONBANK HACKATHON.
Date : July 15 and 16, 2017
Registration start at 8:30am
Where : Cebu Trade Hall 1, 3F North Reclamation Area, SM City Cebu
Team Composition : Minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 members per team. Can be a combination of students and professionals or all students and all professionals per team. You must share different roles in the team, such as designer, developer and technical specialist. If you don’t have a team, you can form it during the briefing session.
HACKATHON CHALLENGE : Banking Innovations
A team can choose any of the two (2) challenges
1. E-COMMERCE AND SME TOOLS - We are looking for mobile and gamified app, and software system that is e-commerce in nature or an SME tool related to banking or payments.
CATERGORY 1 : E-COMMERCE AND SME TOOLS PRIZES P 60,000 GRAND WINNER P 40,000 2ND PLACEP 20,000 3RD PLACE 2. BANKING OF THINGS - The use of Internet of Things technology such as Artificial intelligence, Machine to Machine, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Wearables, Robotics, Big Data and Data Security. CATEGORY 2 : BANKING OF THINGS GRAND WINNER P80,000
What should I bring? Laptop, mobile phone, all materials needed to create your project, chargers, extension cord… your brain and energy! Tip: Bring a sleeping bag to grab comfortable naps during the Hackathon.
Who owns my prototype in the Hackathon? It’s definitely yours for sure! The team that develops the prototype is its owner and we will not claim any intelligent ownership right from you.
Do I need to pay for the event? It’s free! 100% free! Admission is free and includes food, drinks, support and loads of fun!
