Developers, designers, creative types in Rwanda, Congo, and Tanzania! Are you interested in helping people with disabilities to participate in society? If so, then Silverback NV and Light for the World invite you to sign up for the Hack for the World hackathon. You'll be tasked with designing and prototyping an innovative technology solution to one of the many challenges that Light for the World faces on a daily basis -- such as tracking people who need eye care, training staff at local hospitals, and raising awareness both locally and internationally.

Robotics enthusiasts and hackers in Rwanda! You're invited to sign up to participate in the GLOBHE Drone Hackathon Series - #1. You'll be challenged to conceive and prototype solutions that can help develop sustainable unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) delivery systems that can bring emergency medical supplies and diagnostics systems to patients in remote and inaccessible areas. The first hackathon will focus on solutions for "last mile delivery."
