List of hackathons in Vigo, Spain in 2016

The hackathon Sanjurjo Badia is a two day event focused on programming hardware for the maritime sectors. There will be several mentors with more than enough knowledge of electronics, Arduino, Udoo, etc. during the hackathon so if you do not know how to program hardware, then this is the best event to learn! There will also be several workshops alongside the hackathon such as for 3D printing, Udoo, initiation of Arduino, etc. There will be a plaza Udoo and a few sensors, motors distributed to all groups. The hardware is unfortunately limited, if you have an idea and want to be able to carry it out, you are encouraged to bring your hardware (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors etc.).

This is a week organized by students and for students, free and totally dedicated to the present hot topics in today's computing landscape. The program will include Coderdojo Minho: Non-profit movement, whose goal is to teach young people from 7 to 17 years to program, Rails Girls: A programming event in Ruby on Rails for women with the aim of creating an app in a fun environment with enthusiastic people and fantastic coaches who will not let anyone get away with doubts, workshops on the latest technologies such as Swift, Unity3D, Lens, Security, Ruby on Rails 5, Mobile Testing, Digital Marketing, Android 6.0, talks with experienced speakers, programming and security challenge competitions.
