List of hackathons in Vigo, Spain in 2019

COTEC Portugal is organizing a hackathon to promote the Industry 4.0 among the Portuguese students! During 24 hours, the participants will be challenged to use Industry 4.0 Technologies to create innovative solutions! The winners will win a trip to Barcelona, to participate in the biggest IoT Summit in the World!

Our goal is to help you in doing more science by speeding up your application runtime and by spending less time coding. If your development team has little or no experience of parallel programming, then CESGAHACK4 is for you. During the week the event is structured to ensure that the majority of the time is spent working on on your own code, with the assistance of expert mentors. Participants will get access to the Finis Terrae II supercomputer at CESGA. We will also use Parallelware Tools Suite to help you identify the parallel patterns in your code, and learn how to implement those patterns efficiently with OpenMP and/or OpenACC. The event is free.

Na semana de 4 a 8 de fevereiro, realizar-se-á mais uma edição da SEI - Semana da Engenharia Informática, gratuita e totalmente dedicada a apresentar e aprofundar temas de destaque no panorama atual da informática. A SEI, anteriormente designada por Semana da LEI, apresenta um programa intensivo, oradores de relevo, nacionais e internacionais, uma variedade de momentos de discussão e pró-atividade, uma abordagem social e momentos de lazer, do quais destacamos: Workshops sobre as tecnologias mais atuais. Talks com oradores experientes e inspiradores. Concursos de programação, desafios de segurança e imensas oportunidades de ganhar prémios.
