List of hackathons in Ntinda, Uganda in 2018

Hack for Missions Kampala 2018 is a weekend Missional focused Hackathon & ongoing Ecosystem where global issues are tackled from a Christian perspective. It brings together people from different professions to come and find solutions to the different hindrances to the fulfillment of the Great Commission and how this can be solved. Different challenges are given to different teams and at the end of the event of two days, results are expected to be presented by the different teams. The projects that stand out are then polished and made smarter such that they can be used as resources to aid evangelism and discipleship in the different areas. Upon completing your registration on Eventbrite, You will receive an additional email with instructions to finalize your registration and payment of $15 Your ticket price includes the following: meals (dinner Friday through lunch Sunday), event swag, and snacks and coffee throughout the event Join an incredible group of individuals who are applying their skills and experiences to advance the common good and serve God’s Kingdom. In collaboration with innovative nonprofits and churches, we’ll write code and create technology to help release the oppressed, teach God’s Word, heal the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and support the church and the body of Christ. Hackers, entrepreneurs, and startup types in Uganda! You're invited to attend the WAZIHUB Information Session and participate in the subsequent hackathon. At the info session, you'll get to learn about the tools and infrastructure to which you'll have access if you are selected for the WAZIHUB program. At the hackathon which follows a week after the info session, you'll be challenged to develop a cutting edge and African-grade solution that addresses African society problems.
