Calling all project managers, engineers, presenters and innovators! Come along to our #DVLAHack2theFuture event on Friday 8 February for a fun and intensive all-day hackathon in the RLDC, set to become a breeding ground for fresh ideas and concept innovations. Whether you can code like a boss, lead a team like a pro or pitch an idea Dragon’s Den style, this is your chance to give it a go.  ...oh, and did we say there’s free pizza? The Challenge: To develop software using live streamed data from a sensor fixed to a Scalextric car and demonstrate how data can be utilised in real time. **Feel free to come along with any pre-formed ideas and code for time-purposes. Team Requirements: We recommend teams of 4 - 8 people. When forming your team, think about including the following roles: - Team Leader - Tester - Engineers - Product Presenter **UX staff will be available throughout the day, just ask! N.B. If you have little or no experience with code, there will be staff on hand to talk tech so you can learn what the teams are up to. If you have interest in the test or presenting roles, there will be guides available.
