Don’t worry If you haven’t joined a team. You can sign up by yourselves. In addition, we will help you form a team on the scene.

-What can hackers gain from this hackathon?
1)$10,000 bonus pool equivalent digital currency divided according to the number of votes. All the contestants who have received the votes can get the corresponding bonus according to the number of votes.2)Contestants were qualified by professional selection and shared a surprising prize (TBA). -How much should I pay to participate in this Hackathon?
This Hackathon is completely free for participants. We will provide three meals a day, coffee, peripheral gifts and free Wi-Fi so that you have the best Hack experience.
We also provide sleeping bags so that you are able to stay in the venue and work on the hack overnight. However, we don’t force you to do that. Just make sure you will attend before the presentation.
-How many are the recruitment numbers?
Only 100 Hacker admittance and then cycle screening (A total of 500 registration quotas, specifically by email notification). According to the order of registration, the title of the competition is continuous. The 100 hackers who past the test will get the qualification.
-What rules do I need to follow?
Form of team:3-6 people.(team or on-site team)Evaluation Criterion: 1.Practicality, Skill, creativity. 2.Increments within 24hours.Hackers who understand the business model of the tokens economy and the blockchain. Familiar with the mainstream blockchain source code. Understanding the consensus protocol design. Application layer security and safety audit experts, such as wallets and smart contracts. Engage & improve upon your computer coding skills together with medics & professional coders to brainstorm a product targeted at dealing with major global healthcare problems! Network with Tech (MedTech & FinTech) companies looking for talented and motivated individuals in this exciting and expanding sector.
All profits generated from ticket sales will be donated to our charity - The King Edward's School Birmingham Trust. This charity supports the Assisted Places Scheme, which allows children to attend KES who could not otherwise afford a place.
Photographic stills and short movie clips will be taken during the event for our social media platforms.

Our July Maker Club is the official Oxford workshop for Global Game Jam Next. Young Gamers aged 12 – 17 can join in with an international day of game creation, based around a theme that will be revealed on the day!
Whether it’s a video game, board game, card game or any other game you’re into, come along, hang out with other 12-17 year olds, swap ideas and come up with new ones. Click into design mode, sketch out how your game might work, prototype and playtest your ideas. Who knows what innovative games Maker Club members will create in a day – Game On!
Game Jams are very similar to hackathons and these type of events are best when participated in fully, so do try and come along for 10am if you can. If you can’t make it for the start, no worries we are open until 4pm.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
If you are planning to build a video game, you must bring along a laptop, as we only have a limited number available.
A tuck shop is available for drinks and snacks, but if you are planning on spending the day with us bring your own lunch.

Space Hackathon - GEOSS/HACK

Join us online in or person at the European Space Agency’s ECSAT centre in Harwell Campus (UK) for GEOSS/HACK 2018, where developers will compete to create data discovery and access tools that solve global challenges.
HOW IT WORKS
Participants will have 30 hours to create an open-source data discovery or access application based on a challenge announced at the start of the hackathon.
THE CHALLENGES
The challenge will be announced at the start of the hackathon, and will centre around real data needs and globally relevant environmental themes focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
THE PRIZES
In addition to exposure and promotion to some of the biggest organisations and companies in the industry, our sponsors and organizers will soon announce the exciting prizes for the winners. There's also the possibility to apply for further funding and support, see below "What happens after".
TECH SPECS
All programming languages and application formats will be accepted, provided they are open source and the code is shared in Github. Participants will produce a 2 minute video explaining their entries for the judges to review.
