The Hack is Back and Better Than Ever TechCrunch Disrupt London's 24-hour Hackathon at Copper Box Arena   Saturday, December 5, 2015 12:30pm - Registration opens (come fed or bring a brown bag lunch, beverages served)                    dedicated area for people to network to form hack teams 1:30pm - Hacking Kickoff 2:00 - 6:00pm - API workshops scheduled in 30 minute intervals (To Be Announced) 7:00pm - Dinner Midnight - Food and snacks, courtesy of our many sponsors   Sunday, December 6, 2015 7:00am - Breakfast served 9:30am - Hacking concludes and hacks submitted to wiki  10:00am - General public welcome to enter to attend hackathon presentations 11:00am - Hackathon presentations begin Approximately 2:00pm - Hackathon will conclude with final awards and recognitions will be provided by the judges. The final awards may be held earlier or later depending on duration of hack presentations.   HOW TO PARTICIPATE: HACKERS & DEVS - Tickets are for Developers who wish to participate and work on hack projects to present ONLY.  If you are not working on a project please DO NOT register for a Hacker Ticket. Tickets are available on a limited basis. Any minors under 18 must have be accompanied by an adult at all times. SPONSORS - There are many ways for companies to partner with the Hackathon. At Disrupt London, we've had sponsored API platforms for hackers to develop on, as well as several amazing contests, with companies offering cash and in-kind prizes.       Dates and Times THIS IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT HACKATHON 21/11/15 : 0900 - 2100 22/11/15 : 1000 - 1700   Event Hackcess is a Hackathon focused on using digital fabrication and maker technologies help disabled people live more independent lives, improving accessibility through technology. It's a two day event hosted in partnership with Fab Lab London, Autodesk, Ultimaker, Goldsmith University and Whizz-Kidz. We'll have a heap of technology for all you designers, makers, coders and product people to use to design new and exciting assistive technologies during the hackathon. There will be food, drink, electricity, WiFi, 3D printers, digital fabrication equipment and traditional tools (that's drills, hammers, wood and stuff like that) so that you can get on with the real work - changing lives. The event is open to makers and inventors of all ages including children. Young makers should be at least 18 years to attend unless accompanied with a parent/carer. It will be a real opportunity to make change for good. Venue Hackcess is taking place in Goldsmiths University 19th Century converted church - St James, Hatcham.               Interested in hacking, making or coding things? Interested in the stories that objects can tell us about everyday life? Join us on Saturday 14th November 2015 for the 'My Object Stories' Hackathon! We want you to help us make an interactive digital archive of young people’s everyday objects and the stories behind them. Working with a team of expert hackers and archivists, you’ll get the chance to help design and make something that has never been built before! To take part you need: • To be aged 13-16 years • To have an object that you’re comfortable sharing the story of on the day (you’ll be able to take it home with you afterwards!) • To be prepared to help design and build an interactive archive of young people’s everyday objects. No previous technical experience is required, you just need to be willing to work as part of a team and have lots of enthusiasm!
