Collaborating to Improve Care - Hackathon

Do you have a passion for making a difference to the care provided in schemes and homes around the country? Do you like to problem solve and find innovative solutions to everyday issues in the provision of healthcare in care homes, keeping the more vulnerable members of our society safe, well and avoiding admissions into secondary care? Come participate in the “Collaborate to Improve Care - Hackathon.” You will meet and collaborate with a diverse mix of people--from healthcare and academia--healthcare scientists, clinicians, care professionals, elderly care physicians, and public health professionals, information management professionals, engineers, computer scientists, and bio-medical specialists. Challenges will be pitched by participants and teams will be formed to find a solution to these challenges. The teams then pitch their solutions to a panel of judges, and they will mark the solutions on their viability.

They have identified their top four interesting topic areas and want to work with you to help them develop what customers need. This is a two day ‘hackathon’ based at Launch22. You can choose one of four given project briefs -- on your own teams, as an individual, or in collaboration with other participants. The projects are:

--> Brief 2 - Application Dashboard Monitor
