Join this Hackathon to help innovative local teachers connect with the tech community. Hackney Learning Trust (HLT) has joined forces with BY Creative and Digital Doughnut to launch the 'Teacherpreneur Hackathon' event and are inviting all teachers, developers, and designers to join them at this one day special event.

The Accessible Music Hackathon is featuring Bela, a new embedded platform for low-latency interactive audio. The goal of the hackathon will be to create new musical instruments accessible to disabled musicians. Hacks could produce complete working instruments, or a demonstration of a concept or sensor which could be used in a variety of instruments. There will be prizes for the best hacks addressing these challenges, and best overall instrument.

To launch our Building Data Exchange, this hack weekend aims to bring the built environment community together with digital innovators and entrepreneurs to unlock new data driven solutions for the management of building performance.  This hackathon is the perfect opportunity for built environment experts, entrepreneurs, technologists, developers and creative professionals to come together, share skills and build exciting new ideas.  You will be able to access and use the Building Data Exchange datasets and reports collected under the BPE programme.  This includes over 100 different projects, covering both domestic and non-domestic property with data relating to carbon neutrality and building efficiency through to ergonomics and design.  You will have 24 hours to develop, research and test your idea, before presenting to your fellow hackers and our panel of expert judges. The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is one of the world's largest hackathons on game development. Come and explore the global creative gaming atmosphere, while taking part in the process of development, including programming, iterative design, narrative exploration and artistic expression. The One Hour Hackathon is designed for all those who want to get a taste of what a real hackathon is like without having to give up a whole weekend or have any skills. If you're a designer, a marketeer or even a footballer, come and join this event, practice your skills and learn what it takes to win! Once the build has ended, teams will get a few short minutes to present their ideas before a winner is chosen!

The Long Term Care Revolution Challenge is to find innovative ideas that will disrupt the current long term care institutional model. Innovate UK and The Robotics & Autonomous System Special Interest Group are hosting this workshop to find innovation within the RAS Community. The goal is to create different systems and services addressing the lifestyle needs and wishes of dependent individuals, their carers, and families.
