#UX4Change Hackathon

The #UX4Change Hackathon invites you to come and create personas to design sustainable technology for a humanitarian cause. You will take on the challenge of creating personas that reflect women like pregnant young Syrian refugees from Aleppo who have no access to vital pre-natal information. UX for Change is partnering with the HaBaby app team which supports pregnant refugees during their journey through different countries by providing a list of symptoms, actions to take and multilingual support in order to ease the communication with health care providers, who may or may not speak their language.
You will learn how to create personas for HaBaby and work with Subject Matter Experts (SEMs) available during the event to shape the HaBaby project design decisions. There will be prizes for the best team as well as digital badges for participating in the event.

Accessible Music Hackathon

Building Data Exchange Hack Weekend

To launch our Building Data Exchange, this hack weekend aims to bring the built environment community together with digital innovators and entrepreneurs to unlock new data driven solutions for the management of building performance.
This hackathon is the perfect opportunity for built environment experts, entrepreneurs, technologists, developers and creative professionals to come together, share skills and build exciting new ideas.
You will be able to access and use the Building Data Exchange datasets and reports collected under the BPE programme. This includes over 100 different projects, covering both domestic and non-domestic property with data relating to carbon neutrality and building efficiency through to ergonomics and design.
You will have 24 hours to develop, research and test your idea, before presenting to your fellow hackers and our panel of expert judges.
We welcome groups and individuals to apply and attend the weekend – places are free, but limited, sign up now to secure your place.
