A follow-on event from the Start-Scale-Grow workshops. We are changing our event next week (Thursday 6th July) to a more personalised drop-in session, with a chance to meet with us on a one-to-one basis for advice on how we can build a mutually benefitial relationship with guest lecturing opportunities, hackathons, courseworks and interns. There will still be refreshments, so pop in between 5pm and 8pm for a chat and a snack. After the Start-Scale-Grow wrap-up sessions in July, we will run an all-bells-and-whistles networking session in late August. Hope that suits everyone, and maximises our combined potential! Applied Blockchain Lab is an instructive programme designed to promote the knowledge of Blockchain where people can learn and interact with one of the fastest growing disruptive technologies today.           Join our team on July 1st and 2nd for a HealthTech - VR/AR for good hackathon! After making small teams, participants will have only 24 hours to create a project on a given topic. At the end of the 24 hours, our jury will choose the winner!You will receive more information via email prior the event! Please make sure you check your emails before the weekend to get ready and receive all the updates! WEEKEND  SCHEDULE Day 1 10:00am - Registrations - meet the other participants over a coffee/tea11:00am - Welcome & Announcement  - The Realities Centre Team will introduce the competition rules, schedule, mentors and topics for the next 24 hours. 11:30am - Team creation 12:00pm - Brainstorming - an hour to prepare and plan the project01:00pm -  Hack begins7:00pm - Dinner and minglingMidnight - Bedtime or hack from home (no accommodation provided on-site)  Day 2 7:00am - Realities Centre re-opens to continue hacking on-site09:00am - Coffee + Breakfast03:00pm - Hack ceases. Teams take an hour to prepare their demo to the judges04:00pm - The Realities Centre Team will introduce judges.               After a fantastic MedTech event last December on the use of VR and AR for Medical and training applications, the Realities Centre is running another event on Healthcare, focused this time on the patient side.  On June 29th the Realities Centre is running a HealthTech conference at the Digital Catapult with a special focus this time on the patient including mental health, rehabilitation, VR for good, pain reduction and more.
