You'll be challenged to collaborate with like-minded individuals to come up with innovative ways in which you can improve access to justice for communities across the world.

    Do you feel that there should be more emoji, such as unicorns, kittens or you! Ever wanted to make your own emoji, your favourite games, or digital stories? Do you want to learn about electronics and robotics, and program things to move?  Digital Makers at the Guild, every Saturday 12.30 til 2.30pm Students aged 8 to 15, come and learn all there is to know about coding. To start with, you can work on creating your own emojis, interactive graphics, websites, digital stories, games, and much more.  During Digital Makers sessions, you can also have fun making interactive physical things putting together LittleBits or soldering electronic kits. We also have Ozobots, microbits, and a parrot drone which is programmable with Tickle on the iPads. We have a limited number of iPads and laptops, so if you have a laptop or iPad, please bring it along! Note:  We won't be able to run the sessions on: * 3rd & 17th June, or 1st July, due to family parties, concerts, and year 6 end of school events.* 21st October, due running an all day event for the Bath Digital Festival!* 28th October, due to attending DroidCon 2017 in London!* 2nd December, due to attending the #AcornHackJI Interfaith Hackathon for Teens in London!

          Polish Professionals in London zaprasza na seminarium na temat wirtualnej rzeczywistości (VR), technologii i możliwości zastosowania. Wirtualna rzeczywistość określana jest jako obraz sztucznej rzeczywistości, stworzony przy wykorzystaniu informatycznych techniologii. Wirtualna i wzbogacona rzeczywistość likwiduje mur między odbiorcą o osobą opowiadającą historię o swojej firmie, produkcie, usłudze. VR zapewnia użytkownikowi poczucie "obecności" czyli złudzenie bycia fizycznie obecnym w innym miejscu. Technologia VR daje nam możliwość, abyśmy byli aktywnymi uczestnikami zamiast pasywnymi widzami. Korzystając z urządzeń VR możemy patrzeć gdziekolwiek chcemy i współdziałać z wirtualnym światem w sposób, który wcześniej nie był możliwy. Podczas spotkania będzie okazja zobaczyć sprzęt wykorzystywany w VR. Spotkanie poprowadzi Artur Fiedorowicz. Kilka słów o prowadzącym Artur Fiedorowicz, absolwent elektroniki na Politechnice Wrocławskiej, pracował w londyńskich korporacjach jako software engineer i IT developement. Artur zaczął swoją przygodę z VR wygrywając międzynarodowy hackathon organizowany przez Ticketmaster / Live Nation ze swoim pomysłem na podgląd widoku z wybranego siedzenia w teatrze lub stadionie. Kilka miesięcy temu zrezygnował z pracy w korporacji i założył firmę ArtsyVR tworzącą aplikacje VR dla firm marketingowych i technologicznych. Przemawiał na konferencjach w Londynie, Moskwie, Madrycie i Polsce, ale najczęściej możecie znaleźć go na Twitterze (artsyvr) gdzie dostarcza nowinek na temat świata Virtual, Augmented oraz Mixed reality.               Freshwater and citizen science: A research hackathon.

              PhD students and freshwater scientists in the Oxford area! If you're interested in citizen science, then Earthwatch Institute invites you to participate in a research hackathon to be held at Oxford Brookes University. You'll collaborate with other participants to hack FreshWater Watch's citizen science-generated dataset on water quality in rivers, streams, ponds, lakes and wetlands. You'll work in a small team to explore a given research issue and use the FreshWater Watch dataset in conjunction with other accessible datasets in order to identify opportunities for freshwater ecology.
