Hello Everyone!
We are pleased to announce that registration is open for "Boston Azure Data and AI Fest 2019 ", a 2-day event on Tuesday December 10th and Wednesday the 11th of 2019, 9:00AM to 5:00 PM at the Microsoft Technology Center at 5 Wayside Rd, Burlington, MA 01803.
Tuesday will be a day filled with speakers and session tracks, while Wednesday the following day will be more hands-on workshops and hackathons. More details on the sessions and hands on materials will be released as we finalize the content.
Please note - this is a paid conference, and we are charging a nominal registration fee of $10.00 up to the 11/30/2019 registration deadline. Hurry though, we only have 250 seats available for this great event packed with over 25 sessions on the Microsoft Azure Data and AI topics. In the past this event has sold out so don't wait to get your tickets.

NASA International Space Apps Challenge (ISAC) is the largest hackathon in the world. It is commissioned by NASA to get citizens to collaborate on its mission directives. NASA ISAC 2019 Boston will take place on October 19th 9am - October 20th 4pm at Brooklyn Boulders in Somerville, MA.
About NASA ISAC
The International Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaborative hackathon focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of additional government collaborators and 100+ local partner organizations. Space Apps is a NASA incubator innovation program.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 years or older. If you’re under 18, please get permission from a responsible adult. You must register to participate.
Can I join the hackathon as an individual?
Yes! You can join the hackathon as an individual or as a team. If you are looking for a teammate, please pitch your idea after the opening session so that you can recruit members. Or if you don’t have an idea be prepared to listen to the pitches to find a team you want to join.

The second annual Citizens Challenge Hackathon, hosted by Citizens Bank with support from the Open Bank Project, is happening October 4 - 6, 2019 at District Hall in Boston’s Seaport.
Now in its second year, the Citizens Challenge is open to developer teams and early-stage startups, and includes coaching, workshops, mentoring sessions and get-togethers over an amazing weekend in Boston.
Over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP demonstrating an innovative solution leveraging banking and other data to hack one of three challenges:
As we accelerate our digital transformation, how can you help us improve the speed and efficiency with which we serve our customers? Consumer Challenge
How might we onboard new commercial customers in a frictionless way? - Commercial Challenge
How might we use data to make mobile-first customers smarter about their spending & savings? - Shared Challenge

Should I bring a laptop?
Yes. Even if you're not coding it's a good idea to bring some kind of internet-enabled device.
Do I have to be a coder?
No, entrepreneurs, designers and anyone with bright ideas and energy is most welcome.
What if I've never been to a hackathon?
Perfect. Come and have a great first experience!
Can we sleep over at the hackathon?
No, not this time. At some point we'll go have some drinks, get some sleep and return bright and early.
