Hedera 18 Hackathon The Hedera18 Hackathon—the first global, decentralized hashgraph hackathon—will gather developers to compete in nine cities around the world: Dallas, Bangalore, London, Moscow, Paris, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, and Tel Aviv. This two-day hackathon will give you an opportunity to build what’s next in fast-moving categories, including gaming, social causes and micro-payments. Hackathon Challenge Using Hedera Hashgraph APIs, teams can be inspired to take advantage of the high throughput, low consensus latency, and transaction order fairness to build DApps in categories such as gaming, supply chain, social causes, micropayments, and IoT. Winning teams will earn Hedera tokens and a chance to have your project incubated and deployed on the Hedera hashgraph platform. True AR Challenge is an online competition and onsite hackathon for developers and designers who are passionate about augmented reality apps and car innovations. We invite you to take the challenge and share your vision for AR apps. The submissions that are visually innovative, technologically impressive, and engaging for users will be shortlisted for the hackathon where you will bring your idea to a working app prototype using our True AR SDK.  True AR SDK is a toolkit that helps build AR apps that run on holographic AR displays. The SDK includes a holographic AR display simulator, runs on Ubuntu 16.04, and supports C++ and GLSL with binding to other programming languages.  Awards Top 30 shortlisted projects will receive cash prizes of $2,000–$5,000 and invitations to the True AR hackathon. The hackathon winners will be granted $10,000–$40,000.
