List of hackathons in Albany, United States in 2017

Launch!   The crew from Leet Sys will guide AlbanyCanCode students and mentors into a teams to build a showcase project in the coming weeks. What's the project? Design and build a mobile app that shows our region's tech companies and training programs. At this kick-off, we pick a stack and put together teams.  In a few weeks, a second Land! Hackathon will provide critique. Students who complete the project will have this portofolio item showing a full project cycle from concept to finish. 

Do you have a passion for open data projects? Come along to the Open Data Day Albany/Troy. You can help grow the open data community by working on projects such as open research data, tracking public money flows, protecting the environment with open data, and using open data to promote human rights. Come and showcase your creative and technical skills to collect, visualize, and analyze data.
