Biomedical engineering students and undergraduates from other fields! The Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering invite you to participate in the ASBME Makeathon 2017. You'll collaborate with like minded individuals to brainstorm, design, and computer aided design a medical device. Five teams will be selected to move their device to fabrication, using USC’s Fabrication Lab. One Grand Prize Winner will be selected, with two runner-up prizes.

Developers, designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, etc.! Are you dissatisfied with the 2016 election cycle? Step up with an idea that could improve the next one. Debug Politics invites you to participate in the nonpartisan Debug Politics: 1st Los Angeles Hackathon. Come along and collaborate to find innovative ways to make a real difference. You'll be part of a team that will be challenged to identify one specific thing about the election cycle you were dissatisfied with and build something to fix it. You can come as a team or form one on the night!

Interested in the real estate, AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) industries? Come sign-up and participate in Hub101 Hacks business hackathon! This is an ideal environment for you to showcase your creativity and mastery of business technology! You'll collaborate with industry professionals, UX designers, business consultants, lawyers, finance/accounting professionals, hardware and software mentors, and many more. Come with an existing Real Estate/AEC project, or create one at the event! Your goal is to create a startup idea that can become a successful business that can generate revenue and/or attract investors.

Kids aged 10-17 in the Long Beach area! Do you want to overcome the diversity gap for women and minorities in the high tech sector? Operation Disrupt invites you to sign-up to participate in the Disrupt Hackathon. You'll be challenged to pitch your idea for a tech solution to a problem you have identified in your community. You'll be part of a team and you'll be expected to take your idea -- a website or mobile app -- from concept, to design, and all the way to testing.
