The AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) Hackathon was created to give those designing, building, and maintaining our built environment the opportunity to collaborate with cutting edge technologies and its developers and designers. It has quickly become a community of innovators that include all elements of the built environment, not just AEC. Each hackathon is brought to a location by the local AEC and or tech community. The AEC Hackathon community helps these locals make the event happen with financial support provided by both local and community sponsors.This has become THE event for creating innovation for these industries so get engaged today! GE Digital, the newest company within the GE portfolio, is bringing the Industrial Internet to life, by connecting minds and machines. The GE Digital Hub Detroit, located between Detroit and Ann Arbor, is home to nearly 800 of the world's best Digital Technology professionals who are changing the way we work by leveraging our Predix platform. We are proud to present this year's Detroit Maker Faire at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. As part of the Maker Faire, we will host a unique Hackathon that will give innovators a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build on our Predix platform to create Smart Museum solutions at the Henry Ford. #Hack313 is a hackathon empowering young Detrotiers through an immersive and interactive coding experience. The hackathon will provide an exciting, team-building experience with youth working together to build applications and platforms that solve issues in their community - including transportation, education, food access, health, and more.
