This hackathon is combining beer, code, and competition together to benefit Women Who Code, a non-profit organization inspiring women to excel in technology careers. Get the chance to win developer glory and an untold amount of Avery beer. All Developers, Designers (UX/Visual), Idea creators, Marketers, invited to join this challenge of bringing craft beer and technology together enjoying special IPAs provided by Avery brewery.

This is an eight-week workshop focuses on both the technical and design related skills needed to create fully responsive web sites for screens, tablets, and mobile devices. This workshop is the perfect starting point if you aren't familiar with coding, no previous web programming or design skills are required. By the end of the workshop you will have learned how to write HTML code and style it with CSS, build fully functional web pages from scratch, create fully responsive web pages for screens, tablets, and phones, build websites with popular Frameworks like Bootstrap, and code contact forms using PHP and the benefits of running a local web server.

This Edison™meetup is organized as a preparation for the Intel® IoT Roadshow in order to make sure that everyone is set-up with the resources they need to come out on top. Come get a jump start by familiarizing yourself with the Intel® IoT Developer Kit (Beta). Intel® IoT experts will be showing you how to set-up the Edison™ board. The 2016 Hack-A-Thon to support those on the autism spectrum. Experts, individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and those who want to help can come together in an open collaboration event where everyone participates in sharing ideas to hack solutions for autism. There will be three tracks addressing therapy, employment and technology, a Pitch-It event where ideas/innovations are pitched to a team of judges, a Birds-of-a-feather lunch where you can meet with others interested in the same topic/interests, and Keynote talks from people who are making a difference. This is a non-profit event with a mission to fund, create and support opportunities that improve the personal and professional lives of people on the Autism Spectrum. Technology, therapy and employment play a key role to enable them to show their unique talents and abilities in this fast paced world.

This hackathon weekend will bring together journalists, developers, designers, nonprofits and the community to create projects using open data on immigration and tech tools. Your goal is to work together in a team to develop an 560x400 pixel application that can be embedded into any web page or shared on social media through using a data visualization projects including maps, infographics, and/or videos.
