Razom/IT is an initiative of Razom to grow entrepreneurship by accelerating the growth of the tech start­up ecosystem in Ukraine. Join this event together with companies in the US who hire technology talent, as well as software engineers and investors to learn about Ukraine: Rise of Tech Nation. You’ll learn about global R&D shop Ciklum as well as early-stage startups.

A Hackathon for musicians, programmers, scientists, and other artists to hack together on projects exploring music. We Connect the Dots' First Annual International Back-to-School Hackathon is taking place this January in schools around the globe! The info session is a chance for students, parents, community members and sponsors to find out how they can get involved and meet members of the We Connect the Dots team. Presentations will include how to fundraise to attend, what exciting content will be presented during the event, and what students will take away. The Hackathon will include lessons on coding in HTML5, using Microsoft's Azure Solutions Platform, and the role that technology skills will have in the future of the global job market. The info session is open to students, parents, community members and sponsors. There are no age limits for the info session. The Hackathon is open to students 13-18 years old.    What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Penn Wood High School is reachable by public and private transportation. The school parking lot offers plenty of parking space to accomodate all attendees.    What can/can't I bring to the event? Bring your questions and (if you are the note-taking type) a pad and pen. Nothing else will be needed. Have you ever had a great idea for a mobile app, but thought you just didn’t have enough time to build it? With Meteor, you can build that mobile app in less time! We are honored to co-host this Wine + Code with Meteor Philadelphia! Speaker Michael Ghobrial will show you how to start creating a mobile app using Meteor and Materialize CSS. Naturally, there will be a lot of questions, so he’ll spend some time answering those. Then, after a short break, we’ll all work on building a mobile app together. ProtoHack exists to show non-coders that they can create something amazing from nothing. We empower and enable the non-technical community with the tools, knowledge and connections that will help bring their idea to life and visually communicate it through prototyping. How does it work? No coding is required. Instead you will use prototyping tools, drag and drop editors, mockups, wireframes and anything else you can think of to VISUALLY demo your idea on stage. (We’ve put together the best tools for non-coders, so don’t fret if you’ve never prototyped.) Although we encourage you to try some prototyping tools prior to attending ProtoHack, we will begin ProtoHack with optional educational workshops on how to use some of the top prototyping tools. You can choose to prototype alone or form a team with other participants and decide on an idea together. Teams can be up to 5 people. You will have 9 hours to produce a prototype. (Remember, you are creating a lean prototype of your idea and it doesn't need to be perfect. The focus should be on visually showing what the idea is.)
