NBA All Star Hackathon 02/14 - 02/15 NBA All Star weekend doesn't just have to be about the best basketball players in the world. It should also be about elite and aspiring developers creating fresh new basketball ideas. FastModel Sports  is the number 1 basketball software company headquarted in the heart of Chicago and is presenting the 1st ever All Star Hackathon.  With access to our APIs, if you can dream it you can build it! This 24 hour hackathon will begin February 14 2020 @2PM CT and end February 15 2020 @ @PM CT Attendees will be welcomed to begin the competition in FastModel's Office at 2PM until 8PM and can return at 8AM until the competition ends at 2PM on 02/15. Official Swagger files and API documentation will be sent out prior to the event for engineers to understand what data is going to be available which include: STATS API: team stats, player stats, play by play stats, shot charts and lineup stats and a lot more PLAY API: access to play diagrams, play list and play metadata.  access to playbook directories, pdfs and metadata.  VIDEO API: ability to upload and retreive videos of practices, game footage and more -- In addition to innovating and building amazing tech you'll get: --  Meet other lovers of tech and/or basketball. Access APIs that powers NBA teams and NCAA basketball teams. Hack & Tell is a hackathon that is actually a hackathon. There is no need for business models, customer validation, or extravagant pitches. The purpose of this hackathon is to hang out and team up with other developers and designers for the sake of making something. There will be time at the end of the event where you are free to show and tell everyone about the awesome thing that you built. You can build something for yourself or build something for other people. You can build something useful or build something not useful at all. The choice is all yours. All we want is for you to take this time and build something you've always wanted to build. You didn't even need to have any ideas of your own. There will be plenty of developers and ideas floating around that you can hack with. So are you going to come make cool things with us?
